What a cute cottage! The quiet oasis I was looking for. The backyard is adorable, I loved laying in the hammock in the sun. The space was huge, plenty of room and very clean. The kitchen had everything you needed plus more. The claw foot tub is amazing and the bed was super comfortable. I would definitely stay here again! Close to beaches and restaurants. The town is so cute!

Excellent location in Sandwich for get together with family. The scenery and peaceful neighborhood were appreciated. Location is in walking distance of the Sandwich Marsh Walk, a great natural area to view the local marsh, wildlife and beach on this part of the Cape.
The house was phenomenal for us and our family visitors from the Cape and other areas of New England. All rooms were as shown in photos and were warm and inviting. In particular, the backyard view of the marshes and wildlife were a hit with our family and visitors.
As a native Cape Codder who grew up in West Barnstable/Sandwich area, I would highly recommend this location if you want to spend time in a less touristy part of Cape Cod.

This is all about location, location, location - Wow! A beautiful part of Chatham, right on the beach, quiet, and private. The house is large with great space for spreading out. Our group of four couples really enjoyed our too few days there. There's definitely a classic feel to the place with its knotty pine decor, vintage wallpaper, and wainscoting. There a few instances where the house could use some updating but in keeping with its old school cape experience, it's fine the way it is. Our hosts were attentive and easy to communicate with. All eight of us agreed, we loved our long extended weekend in this quintessential Cape Cod house.

Property was clean with plenty of beds. Sheets and towels not provided was a bit of a bummer, but it seems like that's just what's common with rentals on the cape. Property management went above and beyond to help me with an issue before we arrived. All in all, a great experience.

The house was in a great location. All the kitchen, utensils and appliances were in working order and very clean. The road getting to the house was rough but certainly not the homeowner’s fault. If I had one suggestion, it would be to upgrade the sofa in the living room.

We loved everything about our stay. The house was clean, and had a fence out the back door which is a good buffer for children or pets. The best part was being right on the beach and the ability to walk any out to the water anytime. The street is also a pretty quiet road and easy to walk on. Even when the weather is unfavorable, you have a beautiful view from the house.

Our honeymoon trip fell right during the rainy, very windy days and we could not do a lot of things outside - we mostly stayed at the cottage for which we fell in love. It’s a cute cozy place, and very clean. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. We spent most of our time cooking, watching movies, chilling at the gas stove heater. Complete utensils and equipments since my husband and I love to cook!

In spite of the worst weather (2 - 3 days of constant rain and 40 mph wind gusts), we had a great time on the Cape at my daughter’s wedding. We had to time our trips to and from the house because the road flooded during high tide. At the site of the wedding (outdoors in a tent) numerous disasters occurred but they were overcome and everybody had a great time. We all agreed that years from now we’ll all be laughing about this event. Thank you, you have a beautiful home and we would love to return in the future.

We loved our stay and the hosts Joanne and David are very kind and accommodating. The house was well laid out and nicely decorated. The setting was just gorgeous. There was lots of room for our dogs to run around. The beach access was on site and the beach walks and sunsets were breathtaking. We will definitely be back!

The weather was not great during our stay, but we still found lots to do around East Sandwich. Good shopping, good restaurants. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. Easy access to the beach.

Our stay at Sunrise at Sagamore home was beyond what words can describe. Simply Divine. Magical. The home is clearly well cared for and was just perfect for us. It is absolutely beautiful, clean, well furnished, gorgeously appointed and decorated. There were a plentitude of games and books for our use. Small touches that made it special. It was more than we could have asked for! The couches were cozy and comfy. Plenty of indoor seating to play games at night and for any rainy days you might have. (We only had 2 in 32 days!) The beds were amazingly comfortable with extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything you could ever want. Plenty of dishes, cookware and serving bowls, platters etc. There were both regular dishes and plastic dishes. Coolers and other extras that you do not usually find in rentals. What a treat!The outdoor shower was an added bonus. The grill worked perfectly. The deck storage was awesome for our stuff. The deck was spacious had plenty of tables and seating for dining al fresco. The view of the expansive dunes were stunning and of course there is nothing better than Sagamore Beach and the spectacular sunrises can not be beat. The skyline at sunset is also gorgeous. We biked the canal almost every day. I found that the service was amazing. Every question answered promptly and when we needed help, we got it! Super friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. We look forward to another stay next year. Thank you!!

Loved this house. There are many great outdoor spaces. We loved using all the balconies to relax watching the ocean and walking right out the back door onto the beach. Many nights we built bonfires on the allotted areas by the water. We will definitely be back!
