We had an AC issue late one evening. I contacted after hours emergency and they connected me with your maintenance man Jim. He was so patient and led me through assessing what the problem was. Fortunately for all of us there was no actual mechanical problem just a user error mistake. But I was so impressed with the professionalism and timely service late in the evening. Kudos to Jim and NEVC for having a great system in place to keep guests happy.

Our family of 3 had a wonderful week on the cape at this home! Great beach access, stocked with all you need to chill out and live like a local. We will definitely be back and would stay here again.

Lovely home equipped with all the necessities. The house was very clean with plenty of space for the 12 of us. The house was a short walk to the quiet beach and located in a nice neighborhood. We enjoyed visiting the Heritage Museums and Gardens and the fish hatchery.

This is a great house. We have rented the past few summers on the water, which is great, but the proximity by bike or walk from this house was excellent. First Beach (dogs allowed) is a 8 min walk, Town Neck Beach and Boardwalk is a 13 min walk or 2 min bike ride, Tree House Brewery is a 6 min walk, we biked to town to BETHS for coffee almost daily (we walked our bikes over the boardwalk bridge (allowed) to skip big roads) that took 14 min. So location wise its perfect.The house was very clean, the view from the top balcony gives you a peek a boo of the water and the breeze is amazing, the outdoor furniture was SO clean and same with the outdoor shower. They had lots of games, places to chill, the house has a laid-back summer feel. The house has great curb appeal and we loved the neighbors we met. We would definitely rent again. I think a new washer and dryer would be great, as they ask guest to limit the use and they are very old.

Our family was the happiest here - we spent 4 weeks enjoying the house - the responsiveness of the care team was amazing - any minor issues reported were taken care of right away - thank you for making our stay so wonderful and memorable - we hope to be back!!

We loved our stay at this property! The location was fantastic and identical to the listing photos . Communication with the host was smooth and the check in process was seamless. My family especially loved the tasteful mermaid/beach decor scattered about the property. The only minor issue we had was the upstairs bedroom was warmer than the main floor living space. We purchased a fan to help keep the area more comfortable.Overall, an enjoyable experience !

Great location and a fantastic stay overall. The house was very clean, organized, and thoughtfully equipped with plenty of useful amenities. We especially appreciated the garage space for storing our bikes and the ample shaded outdoor areas, both in the front and behind the house, which made it easy to relax throughout the day. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into making guests comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the Winthrop House in Cummaquid was truly special. From the moment we arrived, the house felt welcoming — bright, spotless, and clearly cared for. It had that rare mix of comfort and charm that immediately puts you at ease. One of our favorite parts of the stay was how close we were to the water. We loved starting our mornings with a quiet walk on the beach, watching the light come across the harbor, and ending the day with breezy evenings outside. The neighborhood is very quaint and peaceful, with easy access to all the things that make Cape Cod feel magical. We also loved how close the home is to all the places we wanted to see. There are great local restaurants, small shops, and scenic spots that made exploring effortless. Everything we wanted to do was a short drive away, but the property still felt like its own private retreat. Our hosts were wonderful: thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great stay. It made the whole experience feel personal and cared for. The perfect place to get away from it all! Cute immaculate house with a gorgeous view of the ocean and just a few steps to a private beach. It makes you feel like you are in a different world, but yet only minutes from Dennis and Barnstable. Beautifully furnished with a modern kitchen and it even has an outdoor shower! We plan to return every year and can't wait till next season.
