We loved staying here! The location was perfect. It felt private and rural, but we were within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The yard had lush green grass. We had fun watching fish and turtles swim by in the creek and using the kayaks provided to explore. The house was clean and nicely decorated with everything we needed. The beds were comfy. There was room for all 8 of us to gather for games or meals, and room for each of us to have our own space when desired. More games and books and movies and TVs than we had time to enjoy. Plenty of seating inside and out -- I couldn't decide where to sit with my morning caffeine. There were deer outside every day. We didn't want to leave. When the system of light switches was a little overwhelming and we needed help finding the pool lights, the host was very responsive and very helpful. Would love to stay here again -- zero complaints!

This was exactly the place I needed for some relaxation/recharge from work stress. The surroundings were so peaceful, and waking up every morning to herds of deer grazing in the front was serene. We even got to see a fox trot across the front on our first morning there. The only downside I noticed was the path down to the creek was a bit too overgrown and we didn’t get to make it down there to see it. Other than that, the property was beautiful and spacious enough to relax. It’s less than 5 minutes from Wimberley, and the town was perfect with tons of local eateries with outdoor/waterside seating and live music, water holes with clear waters and trails all around. For our first time visiting Wimberley, it’s already made it on our list as a must for annual summer vacations.

Definitely a great quiet getaway place.

This lake house in Point Venture, Texas exceeded all expectations. The space was spotless upon arrival, and every detail felt thoughtfully curated for comfort and relaxation. I especially appreciated the leveled layout that offered privacy in each room, perfect for families or groups traveling together. The outdoor seating areas were a dream, ideal for enjoying morning coffee or winding down in the evening. Easy access to the lake and pool made our stay even more special, and the surrounding community was incredibly welcoming and peaceful. Truly a serene retreat. I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Very nice stay. Took a minute to get use to train located next to shopping area public area . Everything well organized and clean.

Overall loved the resort and the beds were super comfy. The game room was pretty cool as well. Would have liked all the rooms to have televisions but i was absolutely pleased and so was my family.
