This is the perfect place for friends or family. The location is really close to the Myrtle Beach boardwalk (approx 20 minutes) if you want to go out for dinner or drinks, but honestly a big trip upfront to the grocery store is all you need. I do wish we had or knew about access to a grill, but we ended up having what we needed to make most meals and just enjoy the beach front access and great friends. We had 13 people and we used the pullout couch. It ended up working so that everyone could have a bed to sleep in. There is a service after you book your stay that allows you to rent boogie boards, paddle boards, bikes and more, and I highly recommend taking advantage of that. Overall we had a great stay, and we would love to come back.

Our family of 6+ had an incredible week at Happy Hour, and fine home managed by Sea Star. We paid a normal rate for a normal home, and we were completely happy with what we received for the price. As an owner of a moderately priced vacation villa in Costa Rica, I am frequently surprised at what guests expect for the money they pay. Flawless home are available . . .but don't expect them for a bargain price. If a guest does his research: call SeaStar and ask appropriate questions; do comparative shopping with other homes and agencies; document all SeaStars promises in writing BEFORE arrival . . . .he will not be surprised. I found SeaStar to be responsive, honest and efficient. For example, our internet went out one morning. They had their tech agent in the home within an hour. When he could not remedy the issue, they had the provider out that afternoon, and our internet was back. They were very efficient. In this age of "immediacy", folks want to reserve their homes quickly, and then they still have unreasonable expectations. Connect with SeaStar, ask the right questions, create a friendly relationship with ONE of their agents (Liz was sensational for us) prior to your arrival. When you are spending thousands of dollars for your vacation, it's worth the extra effort on your part. Renting a holiday home is a bilateral relationship. When a guest does his part, he is far more likely to have a great vacation. SeaStar is friendly, patient and efficient. When you do your part, I am confident you will reach the same conclusion. We had a great week!

Perfect family getaway in a great location! The house was very clean and accommodated our family very well!! The sunrises were spectacular from the oceanfront porch and the weather was perfect! I would definitely love to go back!!

We had a wonderful time. The place had plenty of space for us 7 golfers. Enjoyed sitting by the by the pool. The bikes mentioned in writeup were not really usable but that was ok.

Sea Star Realty was one of the best property management company we have rented from. They made the whole process easy for us and we loved the property we rented. There were so many amenities that were included in the rental instead of extra charges. Our house was clean and exactly how it was advertised. We arrived for two week stay for our son's wedding. We were immediately taken away by the endless view of the Atlantic Ocean. This home is a wonderful place to stay for relaxing vacation. Many family members visited while we were there and they all were taken away by both the home and the view. The home is designed in a way in which you feel like you are staying in a mini hotel/motel. Great for more than one family staying together.

We loved Atlantic Gateway!! The house is beautiful, well stocked and very clean. The sofa sleeper on the 1st floor was too uncomfortable for sleeping so a room had to be shared, this was the only problem we had. We like the deck that was built on the ground, this was excellent for sitting outside. The oceanfront is amazing!! We loved Murrells Inlet, fabulous restaurants!! We will be back!!!

We had a great stay for a long weekend. The house is clean, well maintained, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Communication with Greg was super easy. The neighborhood is perfect and access to the beach is superb. We had a great time.

Our family of 8 plus baby stayed at Shore Magic over Thanksgiving. The house was clean, fresh towels were provided in every room. The house is extremely close to the water which is amazing. There are two large sliding doors and big windows that we could see the ocean out of. Which was nice since it was quite cold and we couldn’t be outside all the time. There was a problem with leaking water from the shower but I called the realty company and a maintenance worker was there that day. Very friendly and proficient! We were luck to catch this place in the off season because we definitely couldn’t afford it during the summer. All in all wonderful trip. Close to Murell’s inlet as well as downtown Myrtle Beach. Would DEFINITELY come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Big Chill!! We had a group of 14 adults and we had plenty of room and the ocean view was spectacular. The only disappointment was we were told there was a 12x24 pool and the pictures we had were not the pool that was at the house.

We booked online for a vacation for our extended family. We had never been to Myrtle Beach so we chose blindly based on the gorgeous pictures. It lived up to all expectations. Awesome week was had by all.
