We loved our stay at Mimmy's Place. The location is perfection, with the dock on the intercostal for launching kayaks and fishing, and the sandy ocean across the street. We loved boogie-boarding, sun-bathing, and building castles on the beach. We dropped crab pots and fishing lines in the water, just to see what we would find. The crabs were too small but my 10-year old loved to experience them anyway! It was barely too cool to enjoy the beautiful pool.
The home was very spacious which we loved, with beautiful views from the windows. This is an older home, don't expect pristine, there is wear and tear throughout alongside updated features. Leak spots in ceilings, musty smell in areas, broken window blinds, occasional non-functioning outlets. The refrigerator has broken drawers. The floating portion of the dock is rough. It's still an amazing house and I'm glad they shared it with us. Manage your expectations and you will make wonderful memories at Mimmy's Place.

Everything was amazing and exactly as advertised

Our family had a blast!! It was beautiful weather and only a very very short walk to the beach. Great location and a short drive to other attractions as well! Highly recommend surfside beach if you want a more relaxing family trip than a party town.

We had the best family vacation! This home had easy beach access and close to restaurants and grocery! The home came with all kinds of extras that make a stay feel like home with kids/babies. The private pool was also a nice bonus! Cannot wait to book again next year!!

This AirBnb is a perfect mix of beachy comfort and smart design. Just a quick 5-minute walk to the beach (even for those of us who stroll), it’s close enough to enjoy the sound of waves, but far enough for peaceful lounging by the private pool. Inside, the layout is ideal for groups—a central kitchen/living area where we all gathered, and each bedroom boasting its own en-suite bathroom (complete with showers that had built-in benches—fancy, right?).
When the kids got rowdy, I could escape to my room, where the soundproofing worked wonders. There's even an elevator—great for hauling luggage without breaking a sweat. The locals were as warm as the South Carolina sun, the house was spotless, and the overall vibe was laid-back luxury. Clean, spacious, and a stone’s throw from the beach!
Blue Haven is perfect for a relaxing beach getaway with family or friends, where comfort and convenience meet tranquility.

Washed Ashore is a wonderful oceanfront home with many amenities including a nice pool and elevator. We found several welcome improvements from 2023 including a boardwalk and beach stairway repair, some new chairs in the great room and a new refrigerator. We had a couple of minor issues with the air conditioning, the linens and the internet that were resolved quickly. We have already booked the home for 2025 for the 5th consecutive year.

We had a wonderful stay at Summer Winds and look forward to returning in the near future. The property was exactly as described and was perfect for what we needed for our stay. The property is perfectly located to enjoy and access all that Surfside has to offer. Thank you!

It was perfect for our family of little ones and big. Short walk to beach and restaurants and park. Yet far enough away from traffic noise and the main roadway. The house was well laid out and very clean.
