We had a wonderful time staying in Surfside SC. The unit was very clean, well maintained and beautifully furnished. Our family spent the week enjoying the beach and searching for beautiful seashells. We even had a large pod of dolphins playing in front of our unit. All wonderful memories! Thank you for hosting our family.

This was our 2nd year at Beach Boys South. The location is perfect and convenient to local restaurants. We love the porches, pool and ocean front. House is spacious for our group of 17. Bathroom in each bedroom is indispensable. Two dishwashers are a lifesaver and very large dining table plus bar and stools seated all of us.The bar area complete with icemaker and large variety of beverage glasses is nice and saves kitchen space. Thanks for fixing the elevator this year which was a real pain last year frequently not opening on the main level. One roll of toilet tissue in each bath seems a bit cheap, couldn't you spring for two? One of our oceanfront bedrooms had no toilet tissue at all and there were no hand towels in the main level toilet but agency sent more towels. We were disappointed to learn that the hot tub is an extra $250 for jets/heat over the already pricey rental fee which was around $2k more than last year's fee (and that included a 5% reduction since we were repeat customers but I was under the distinct impression we were to get a 10% reduction just as this review, I am told will earn us a 10% reduction next year if we so decide.) We were asked to do significant cleaning up before departure, strip beds and bring linens, towels and comforters to the main level, empty all trash, load all dirty dishes and run dishwasher, empty and clean refrigerator. The floor was already sandy upon our arrival. The pool was enjoyed. Overall, very nice. But PLEASE put heavier drapes in the master oceanfront bedroom. The sheer curtain forced us to tape up garbage bags to block out bright 6a.m. sun both years. Thankfully, the AC worked well on all levels of the house. I am NOT a "local guide" whatever that indicates. I do not live in Surfside!

Our family had the most wonderful trip last week in Surfside Beach, SC. We booked through Sea Star Realty which we've used in the past, and they always provide great accommodations. We stayed at the ShoreThing, a house right on the beach with a great view. It was a beautiful home with 5 bedrooms and private beach access. We loved the perk of receiving a $250 credit toward beach gear rentals! It was also very easy to book through Sea Star Realty and their communication was phenomenal. They provided us reminders for payments, easy to follow check-in and check-out instructions, and they had an open line of communication (texting) with us during our stay in case we needed anything. Thank you for the great experience once again!

We have stayed at Beachin at Gigis for the past 4 summers and have loved it! Last year they did all new upgrades to the beds/beddings and they are wonderful as well as a well stocked kitchen and huge refrigerator that is perfect for large families. One of the things that we always enjoy about this house is the room configurations. With there being two master suits and a bunk room for the kiddos, there is plenty of space and everyone has their preference of beds. The private pool is another benefit (I think my youngest two are still water logged ) from be in g in it from sun up til sun down. My only suggestion would be to take out the old traditional coffee pot and add in a Keurig. Not a necessity, but it would be a welcomed addition for a coffee loving family (sometimes you just want the convenience of only making a cup). Again, only a suggestion because we absolutely love this house!

Reviewer Comments: We contacted the property management group to ask for an early check in knowing the property was vacant the day before our stay with no care or help from the employees answering the phones. We checked in at 4 no earlier of course and the property wasn’t clean and needs major maintenance. Bathroom faucet in bath almost falling off and hair balls/dust behind the doors. The property management company did not give us a the code to the building, let us know where to get a parking pass or anything until I reached out to them. Location of the property and views of the beach were great but we would not recommend or stay here again.

5 stars is definitely not enough! We come every summer for 2 weeks to the Myrtle beach Area and for the past 3 years we have switched to booking with Sea Star Realty. All 3 of the houses that I booked with them has been absolutely AH-MAZING! They have so many properties to choose from. The customer services is and A+++ 10/10 super helpful and beyond pleasant to talk too! Booking is such a breeze and they are so quick to take care of any needs you may have while you are staying with them. All we have to do is just show up and relax for the 2 weeks. Sea Realty really knows how to make your vacation wonderful!

Beach Haven was a wonderful house for my large family! The house has beautiful views of the ocean! North Litchfield is our favorite place. My grans enjoyed the pool. Our only concern was the outside shower. Thank you! Can’t wait to rent it again next year.

We stayed at the Ohana Oasis and the place was great. Two easy accesses to the beach within a 5 minute walk. The pool was amazing
