Had all the little things you needed in the kitchen. All furniture was comfortable. Having two bathrooms is a necessity for us with kiddos. Would recommend this location and Bender Realty! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love coming to Golf Shores for our family vacation this is like the 13th year That we have stayed at the Royal Palms. We Rent the same unit year after year. We love this area dearly. But the overall cleaning is a lot to be desired. I'm really not one to complain, But I think the property manager and owner should know the findings, When you pay well over $4000 to rent for one week you do expect it to be clean! (not having to do the cleaning job the first hour upon your arrival so you can enjoy your vacation.) We understand that this is a busy time but to walk in and find sand still on the floors And the tiled area had not been mopped and the laundry room floor was so dirty And Sticky. And did not appear that the sweeper had been run in the bedrooms. The knife set that was kept on the counter was greasy and dirty and every knife had to be rewashed. We love the condo unit that we rent year after year, but over the last couple of years, The cleaning has gotten worse. I do have pictures of the floor from where I had cleaned.

The unit is in a great location with easy access to the main road in Gulf Shores, with major stores a short (5 min) drive away. The realty company is also super close to the condo building, which is very convenient. The pool is fantastic to have for bad flag days when you can't really go in at the beach. It's a family-and-pet-friendly area with direct beach access. The unit has quiet time from 10 pm, which is great because we didn't have to worry about loud parties keeping us or the kids awake. Everything was clean upon arrival, and most things were in good working order, with only minor issues (i.e., the toaster not working). Overall, a great stay and we will be back!

So thankful for the opening! We were at another location for 2 nights with no AC and in town for a ball tournament. Everything was super quick and easy and was the perfect location.

“Second Choice” was exactly that for us. We decided to book Second Choice ultimately because of the price. Even though it was our second choice it had everything we needed for a great beach vacation. It was easy to find, very clean, and such an easy walk to the beach with two little kids. It was a very basic beach house but for the price, cleanliness, and easy access to the beach it cannot be beat. Bender was very responsive to any needs and had a number we could conveniently text if needed.
If I had to recommend anything it would probably be to add rugs at entryways because we tracked a lot of sand in even with the downstairs shower. Instead of multiple chairs in the living room have a loveseat. It was hard for us all (6 people) to sit comfortably in the living room. Lastly, add TVs to the bedrooms.
Overall I would stay here again and even recommend it to others.

The property is absolutely beautiful. Our condo was spotless and had everything we needed to make our week stay perfect. The beachfront location allowed us have the best views but more importantly we walked right out of the condo onto the beach. This was was my 2nd stay at the San Carlos and I will definitely be returning.

Despite being on the other side of the road we had an unobstructed ocean view and beach access was a very short walk. The home and furnishings are a little dated, but honestly that is part of its charm! The best part is the front porch where we spent a lot of family time in the rocking chairs and the porch swing. Our dogs absolutely loved the porch. Also, there is a very nice trail nearby for walking and running where we walked our dogs each morning and evening. The home was clean and comfy and had plenty of amenities for cooking meals, etc. Would highly recommend this rental for a family vacation or group of friends.

We looked on the website and it seems like the ocen view condons were only 2 bedrooms and 1 bath condon. The master bathroom toilet was not working. Everytime you flush, you can't flush again. We had to open the tiolet and put the red cap down before flushing again. Also, not enough spoons for 8 people. The condo said 8 people could sleep here. But, overall, it was great. We would come back and stay at this condo. Also, the swimming pool was great. My 4-year-old love it.

Locations was amazing with a VERY short walk to the beach! The place was very clean but furniture is a bit dated. Bender was so easy to work with and answered all my questions quickly! Will definitely stay at the Sandpiper again.

This place was exactly as described! Condo right on the beach, which was nice for easy beach access. The beach in front of the condo was not too crowded compared to the other surrounding condos. 10/10!

We had a wonderful stay at the Sandpiper. Everyone was friendly and helpful, both staff and other vacationers. It was a very family oriented place to stay. My girls thoroughly enjoyed the pool. My oldest didn’t want to go back home. She told us she wanted to live at the sandpiper instead! We will definitely be back and plan to make it our yearly vacation spot. Thank you to Bender and the wonderful family who’s home away from home we stayed in. We truly enjoyed our stay.

My family really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful view of the beach and the ocean from the condo. Access to the beach and the pool couldn’t be easier. It’s a short run to a really nice trail system for the runners out there. We’ll definitely be back!

We had such a great time! Condo was very clean and looked just like the pictures showed. Beautiful view from our room and you walk right out and then you’re on the beach. Very convenient location to everything and all the staff were very friendly. Very easy process from checking in to checking out. I would definitely come back and stay again at this location. No complaints!

Bender was great. On our drive down we got a call from Julee, with bender, that the elevator was out of service at the condo we were booked at. We had people in our party that needed use of an elevator. They offered a discounted rate or they would see what else they had. Within minutes we had a different place booked for our stay, with Julee leading the way. Thats a hit to hear that on your drive to the condo, as we were excited about the place we booked, but they made up for it, and were honest. I’m glad we didn’t show up to a broken elevator. Thanks again Bender for making the accommodations with the family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have visited this exact place now twice. You can not find a better family-friendly, well kept, convenient place to stay. This will be a freqent place we revisit. It is close to everywhere you want to go in Gulf Shores. Right on the beach, so no lugging things to & from the beach in a car or trying to find access to chairs and an umbrella. The beach is private and you can rent chairs and an umbrella for each day you are there and there is staff on the beach to accommodate you with that who are very helpful. Or bring your own chairs! Regardless, check in is easy. The parking is awesome. The room was great. A few things that needed to be fixed, but overall we go to be on the beach. You will not be disappointed with the amenities, proximity to everywhere you want to go and the nice, safe environment here. Definitely recommend!

We stay in so many of these condos on the gulf beaches that it becomes hard to find specific words that are helpful. First the condo and then the property. The condo has been perfectly decorated and maintained. One KS bed (a little squeaky) and on QS bed (did not use - used the room for storage). This unit is slightly larger than those in areas further east. It sits next to GS State Park so the view you see should never be obstructed by another big project. This unit is on the 6th floor so it is high enough. I cant find anything that was a negative about the unit, The Property. It is gated (to keep nonresidents from parking there(?)). Parking was easy and, for us, shaded the entire time we were there. Lots of parking. Elevators are a constant problem at most places but not here. Two pretty new Otis elevators got everyone in and out fast. It is the beach so keeping public areas clean and sharp is hard but they did a pretty good job. Overall I would give the Unit a 4.9 / 5 and the property a 4.4 / 5. The Beach is at the quiet end of the public beach (+), GS is growing but better than a lot of gulf communities (+), the State Park is great to have right next door (+++). Beach chairs were $40(?)/day and not included in the Unit rental but we have our own anyway. We'll be back.

Impressed w decor - very nice furnishings w tasteful beach themed accessories. Nice touch - small plugin nightlights - helpful for kids & elderly grandparents. Kitchen fully equipped - even some spices/P&S. Enjoyed our stay - will stay again.
