The cozy cottage fit our needs. The only thing that was not expected were the sand spurs, if you have a dog or small children you will want to check their feet.
As for the ocean was so easily accessible and easy to walk to. Short drive to many amenities. We would stay again.

We LOVED this condo! It seemed like an older but updated building. The building is much smaller (9 floors) than where we usually stay, and we enjoyed the benefits of a smaller place: it was much easier to access the elevator (there were shorter waits - and perhaps the building wasn't full during our stay), the beach wasn't as crowded as those next to us, and we had only 4 condos on our floor, which made it quieter. You can't see the other guests from your balcony. So, smaller was definitely the route to go for us. The condo itself was a little smaller. Smaller kitchen - just plan for one cook at a time. The balcony wasn't as wide. No problem (just not room for a table). Balcony chairs were very comfortable (harder for older adults to get out of). No hot tub or indoor pool (OK with us). I don't think there was a guest restroom to access from the pool/ ocean. But it didn't take as long to get an elevator to get to our rooms, so that worked, too. The furniture in the bedroom - drawers would stick, and the dresser felt like it could easily tip over (a hazard for children). The Master tub was old...but a good shower. So, none of these were issues for us. We purchased a coffee pot since the one provided was a very small one. Well-stocked kitchen otherwise. Great washer and dryer. Good beds! (Most important to us). A few minor repairs were needed, but nothing that affected our stay. We have already recommended this condo to friends and to family who live in the area and have guests visit.

This condo was great. The rooms and beds were super comfortable. The renovation that was done before really made it feel more upscale. The only con was that the primary bathroom was very small compared to the other one. The pool was nice with the exception of people not following the rules and their disrespect for others.

This is exactly the beach view everyone would want. The condo was clean, well equipped (kitchen items, beach chairs and umbrella) with comfortable beds. Elevator is fast. Boardwalk to beach access easy and secure. Pool area clean. 32 unit building is smaller than most, and this meant fewer people on the beach directly in front of the building. The beach is clean and had a long shallow area into the water. Big waves as you are on the Gulf side. Easy parking. The unit had a deadbolt thrown so we had to ask Bender to let us in. They came very quickly. If you plan to arrive after business hours,perhaps ask Bender management to ensure the bolt is not thrown as apparently the condo management often does this.

We had a great time! The location was good, because the condo was not huge we had plenty of space on the beach. The unit was nice inside and was clean. Contact with rental company was great.

Great location. You can walk to parasail, several restaurants, shopping, the hangout.. there's so many options. Parking lot is small, but it works. The pool is nice, not huge but you can sit in the water in a shaded area or you can be out in the sun - which is a good deal for our family. We had a great time, no issues at all.

My wife, myself and fury friend had a great time at this condo, it was everything as advertised. Pool was in great shape, elevator was great too, the condo was clean and all amenities were great too. Walls were thick as we didn't hear neighoring guests either. We would definitely stay here again.

I can’t say enough good about our stay! It was absolutely wonderful. The condo was super clean, cozy, and practical. With just a short walk downstairs to the pool and private beach access right across the road, it was perfect for kids as well. We loved our balcony view of the beautiful pool and the bay. The staff and security team were so friendly and helpful. We had the best time!

Fernhill by the Sea was absolutely beautiful — I went with some girlfriends and my momma and they kept commenting on what a great find it was. The walkway over the dunes and the decks made the private beach access so lovely where whether you wanted to be close enough to the beach to hang back and still enjoy it totally doable or a quick sprint to the water. We enjoyed being able to lay out in the living room n sit at the dinner table just chatting. We'd love to make this a repeat stay

Very nice condo! Nice pool and grounds. Condo was as advertised ! Beds are vey comfortable. The only thing I would say is the enclosed balcony chair cushions are worn down. Otherwise a lovely unit!

This was a great place to stay! The property description was very accurate! Looked just like the pictures! Great location, just a quick walk to the beach across the street! The home was very clean and well maintained. Staff were great. They communicated with us several days leading up to our stay. They were very kind and considerate. They were easy to communicate with and were very nice. I would recommend this property to everyone. We had such a great time. Couldn't have asked for a better property to stay at.

Great stay, spacious, everything we needed for cooking, laundry, bedding, etc.. Only issue was elevator was off and on in service but given the busy weekend it was to be expected. Convenient to everything central in GC and parking was easy!

Sandpiper is Great! We have stayed there before and what I like about it most is it isn't a high rise and each room has a view of the ocean from their front door and it overlooks the pool. We loved just sitting on the deck outside the front door in the mornings and it is just a very short walk to the beach.

One of the best places I have ever stayed at! You are literally a few steps from the pool and a few steps from the beach. Perfect for having small children. Cozy and cute condo with all the needed amenities! Would love to come stay there again!

Everything was amazing. It was easy to find and enter. Wasnt alot of wild crazy people running around. Very relaxed with relly good beach access. The only thing i had any issue with was wanting to sleep in. The curtains in the main bedroom were shear curtains and let in a ton of sunlight. Nothing a couple chip clips and a dark blanket couldnt handle. The host was great and diligent about getting back to us about our questions.

The rental was amazing. It felt like we owned the condo. It was secluded and quiet yet close to the beach. We just had a short walk and were able to enjoy the beautiful white sandy beaches. Everything was super clean. We had everything we needed except toilet paper!
