The "privacy" promised in this listing was a joke. The first morning here I was sitting by the pool enjoying a quiet breakfast when a team of men entered the yard unannounced to landscape. My partner was awakened around 9 am with this noise (sounded like large trucks revving their engines, all the loud tools) and got out of bed half clothed as one is when sleeping, to see people in the yard, with a clear view inside. It lasted 1 hour.A few hours later, sitting by the pool unclothed with my partner, when the pool cleaning person walks into the yard unannounced.We then called customer service and their response? "They need to do maintenance" The draw of this place is privacy and private pool. We were not asked or notified. This is so basic!! Then no apology, did not care from the company.Day of check out *10am check out time* cleaning crew enters the house at 915am via keypad, no knocking, no checking. We were showering and getting ready to go...SO UNCOMFORTABLE. NOT PRIVATE. BAD SERVICE. TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THIS! NEVER AGAIN!

We completely understand how important privacy and a peaceful environment are, especially when guests choose a property for those reasons. The landscaping and pool services are required to ensure the property is properly maintained and safe for all guests. These service days are clearly listed in the house manual provided prior to arrival to help set expectations. That said, we regret that the maintenance visits felt intrusive and that communication could have been better. We also apologize for the cleaning crew arriving before your check-out time without prior notice—this was unacceptable, and we have taken immediate steps with our team to prevent this from happening again. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve communication and service. Your comfort and privacy are our top priorities, and we are committed to making sure future guests have a better experience. Thank you again for your candid feedback. This is the second year in a row that we rented the same house - San Jacinto Hacienda - via Acme for a getaway to Palm Springs. We really love the property. It's more than enough for the two of us with our dogs, and the fact that it sits on a half acre lot on a very quiet street creates a tranquil setting. The proximity to Ruth Hardy Park is nice, as well as overall being very central to pretty much everything. The kitchen is better equipped than any other rental property we've been to, which was nice because we brought plenty of provisions to cook (almost) all our meals and mix all our cocktails there. Side notes: If you want bagels for the morning, Townie is your spot. Perry's liquor store is great. Jensen's Finest Foods is a MUCH better grocery store than Ralph's or Von's. By a long shot. If you're a BMW enthusiast like me, take advantage of the discount offered via Acme and head down to Thermal to the BMW Performance Center.

"Lucy I'm Home" is A beautifully appointed mid-century gem in a gorgeous,convenient neighborhood. Uniquely laid out and beautifully furnished, this gem gives the vibes of the old movie colony days of movie stars laying out by the pool, bar-b-cue-ing steaks on the built in state of the art outdoor grill, eating under amber cafe lights and the comfortable outdoor dining table, and taking a post dinner swim - taking in the views of the mountains as the sun sets, this is the perfect vacation get-a-way for a family, two or three couples, or a bunch of friends. Location is everything and Downtown restaurants are minutes away. We will definitely be back! Acme staff was attentive to our every question and need, and the kitchen has everything you need (nice high end pots and pans) and baths are fully stocked with lovely soaps, towels, etc.
