The property was spacious, beautifully decorated, and well-stocked with essentials like towels and toiletries, making it feel like a hotel. Unfortunately, there were major issues. The house smelled strongly like a dog kennel, especially the couch, pillows, and master bedroom. One guest had an allergic reaction to the smell and had to take Benadryl. We even purchased pet Febreze and candles to help. I informed the host on the first night, and though they said someone would come, no one did.
We booked this property for Christmas specifically for the hot tub, which the host assured us would be heated to 102°F. Despite confirming this in advance, the hot tub wasn’t heated until our last day, after most guests had left. The host was nice, quick to respond to texts, and communicated well, but unfortunately, they didn’t fix the issues during our stay.
While the house itself was lovely, these unresolved issues made the stay frustrating.
