We were extremely disappointed in our stay at Casitas Del Monte. Hosts did not let us know about the broken dryer or the fact that you can’t watch any of the tvs in the bedrooms because they are not connected to the wifi. There was dust under everything, the plumbing was terrible - the water pressure was all over the place and never in a good way. There was a musty smell in the house and several trash bins had garbage in them when we arrived.
Because we were coming from hiking/staying in Joshua tree, having a working W/D was very important. We threw our clothes in as soon as we arrived only to find that the dryer wouldn’t even start. Mind you this a very old dryer, & upon inspecting it was an electric component that was burnt out. ACME took forever getting back to us to the point we had to call them most times just to get a response. They were not able to fix the issue or offer us a workable solution at all despite going back and forth for 5 days with us. Horrible place &management.

The views in the back yard are fantastic. Also, lots of living space inside.

The photos do not match the current condition of the house. There were cockroaches in the kitchen. The pool fountain had sludge in it and the pool maintained guy said that it had not worked in months. The coping along the pool is separating and the pool walls are crumbling debris into the pool. Also, the property is near the airport and when planes take off (every 30 seconds) it literally shakes the entire house. I texted photos of the cockroaches, fountain, and pool conditions to Acme. They wanted to send a crew to fix the fountain and pest control to spray the property while we were there with our child and dog. I’m a Super Host myself and would not recommend this property to anyone.

This Airbnb exceeded my expectations! The location was perfect, and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed, from games and towels to a fully equipped kitchen. The decor was stylish and created a comfortable atmosphere. We especially appreciated the layout, with two separate bedroom "wings" offering extra privacy. While the cleaning could have been slightly more pristine (some dust/dirt was noticeable on light switches and baseboards), it wasn't a major issue. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb and would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful clean house with all the amenities. Really well appointed kitchen which even had things with which we could bake. Pool was nice and spa a great addition.
The only drawback was that the living room television didn't have a Spectrum (or similar) app, or the ability to download it, so we were unable to have full access to live TV.

I felt that AirBNB advertised a house with a pool and hot tub. It seemed unfair to ask for additional funds 1 week prior to the rental. If the house is advertised in this manner, then the fee that is listed should include the energy bill for the use of the pool. If I did not expect to use the amenities, then I would not have rented that house.
I thought that the sheets should fit the beds. The sheet on the king size bed did not cover the bed and was also torn.
I could not find any cutting board to use for prepping food. I could not find measuring cups or spoons. I attempted to use the stand mixer and it smelled like something was burning. There was a good number of plates and glasses. However, the dishwasher did not work well and often seemed to leave food on the plates.
The washer and dryer worked great.
A bathing suit bottom was left behind the door in the half bathroom. I appreciated the towels outside that were present for use outside. .
