I spent several days at the cottage while doing a painting workshop on Balboa Island. The quiet streets and friendly neighbors made me feel safe and right at home. I really appreciated the charming details of this hundred year old beach house. It was totally clean and sleek while retaining a few key vintage elements like the windows and the ceiling trim in the dining room. Very nicely done.

Balboa island is the best and this place fit right in. Our favorite part was the proximity to an ideal beach at the end of Ruby for the kids to play and swim. We would definitely recommend this place!

A quiet location on Balboa Island. easy walk to Marine Ave. and the shops and restaurants there. Also an easy walk to the island auto ferry to the Balboa Peninsula. The home had all the essentials and was clean and ready for our arrival.

Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Close walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed walking the boardwalk around Balboa Island and stopping at the beaches along the way. The home was comfortable and clean, we enjoyed the patio out front.
