Definitely one of my favorite air bnbs! So so cute, so well stocked, super responsive host, and great location. I love how family friendly this place is and how so much was provided. It was also more spacious than I was expecting which was a huge plus. Can’t wait to visit again!

Our 4th of July family vacation was fun and unique thanks to this great home that we got to stay in. Its charm and amenities made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We were able to cook out and have family meals both inside and outside and enjoy each other and the beach atmosphere.
We had game night and movie night and were able to walk just down the front sidewalk and watch the spectacular firework show put on at the Sound.

Our group of six, including grandsons 5 and 2, stayed 4 nights and had a great time. The house combines the charm of a century old house combined with modern conveniences and beautiful gardens with several seating choices. Pleasure Pier, multiple restaurants and beaches are a short drive away. The neighborhood felt very safe. I would definitely recommend this house for your stay in the Galveston area.

The Porter was charming and had a great welcoming "Grandmas House" feel!
What we love: The space was wonderful for our family of 6! We made use of the family board games & utilized the spacious kitchen. The home is beautifully decorated with many small touches that made us smile. When it rained we enjoyed sitting on the front porch & making use of the front rockers. The backyard space was lovely & we took full advantage of the beach supplies provided! The location was great, situated close to the beach & many restaurants to choose from.
What we didn't love: the old glass bathroom door handle kept falling off making our kids afraid to use the upstairs bathroom. We kept trying to repair it, but we'd hear the handle fall off & hit the floor multiple times a day. Also, the room my husband & I slept in had a plastic mattress cover, which was pretty uncomy. We werent sure if the owner preferred it stay on, so we left it.
Overall, it was a great stay & we recommend the location to others!
