The home is adorably decorated. And it’s in a great location that is close to everything. Having access to the beach chairs and bikes was a big selling point for us. Overall, we loved it!

The Sunshine Inn was a beautiful historic house located in a great spot on the island. The neighbors were incredibly friendly and we enjoyed sitting on the porch when there.

The Sunrise Inn is a lovely place to stay in Galveston for a long weekend with family. It’s a short walk from the sea wall, central to grocery stores and good restaurants alike, and the neighborhood is friendly and charming. We visited with two toddlers and we felt safe in the house with them. The front porch swing was a wonderful place to relax in the evenings with the salty breeze. We did find the floors on the first floor to be a little dirty, probably because we spend a lot of time crawling on floors because of the toddlers, but the host sent over a cleaning crew immediately and had the floors literally gleaming in just 10 minutes. The host also offered to have the cleaning crew take care of any other cleaning needs, which was generous and appreciated. Overall, we’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit to the island and would recommend for other families traveling with children.

Great historic home with fun eclectic style, VERY well stocked! Couples trip for Mardi Gras and it was perfect...had NOLA vibes, which Galveston is well known for! Would highly recommend!
