We definitely have this place on our first choice and “recommended for friends” property in Galveston. Well organized living space, well equipped and clean kitchen, comfortable beds, comfortable air conditioning. Back yard with amenities for relaxing, private feeling and the tree gave ample shading. It was a joyful time to relax in the hot tub and be private from neighbors. Treat to have two bicycles and two skateboards in the garage. Grill, fire pit stand, plenty of seating, patio table and chairs with umbrella. Grass area and plants and trees is peaceful. We arrived after a busy holiday weekend and I’m positive that the crew had lots of work to prepare for the new week, so maybe that was why we didn’t have sheets and towels upon arrival, BUT the owners responded FAST and they brought the things and made all the beds. Very happy with communication response and action taken without fuss. Thank you Porter Properties for making the week for us so comfortable and convenient!

Beautiful home. Not too far from the beach in a quiet neighborhood.

This is the first five star review I have given to any of the Airbnb’s that we have stayed at over the years.
Pulling up into the driveway house is very well taken care of in a ferry. Nice location. It’s not necessarily close to a lot of things but if you have a rental car, it’s easy to get around.
Inside the home was very clean very nice. The beds are very comfortable and everything is very organized.
The spacious backyard is beautiful and well cared for.
We enjoyed having the hot tub.
I do wish they would have a book regarding all of the remotes for the televisions and how to turn on certain things. We had to send a lot of messages back-and-forth. They were very quick to respond though.
The ice machine in the door is very slow and doesn’t make a lot of ice. Which can be rough in the Texas heat.
Also, the keypad for the door needed to be tightened. Made it difficult the last day or two that we were there.
We never did find any of the outdoor/beach accessories in the home,

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was as expected! The beach was close, plenty of restaurants and stores around. It was a very good location to be at. Felt safe and the home felt like home. Best stay! We will be back!
