Excellent place to go to rest

Il nostro alloggio a Flagstaff é stato davvero bello. L'appartamento é immerso nella foresta e con tutto ciò che serve.
Letti, cucina e soggiorno si trovano nella stessa stanza, ma ciò non risulta assolutamente un problema.
Purtroppo noi ci siamo stati in inverno, ma in estate deve essere meraviglioso anche sfruttare la parte esterna con barbecue e braciere per fare il fuoco e rilassarsi!

Everything was perfect, we loved staying there

We loved this place! We ran into a few hiccups with weather issues, but that's to be expected. It is easy to find but still felt secluded in the forest. It is up a fairly steep hill (8%). We were worried about getting down during a snow storm, but it was plowed and salted really well. The path is lined with solar lights, but it was cloudy for two days. They weren't very bright when we came home in the dark. Neither of those "issues" were a big deal - more of an FYI for anyone else. My two toddlers loved running around the property with their trucks and tractors. I loved that it was clean enough for my baby to crawl on the floor without any issues. It was a great place to stay as a central place between Grand Canyon and Phoenix (we were visiting both places after driving in from Utah).

Our stay at the cozy hillside retreat was great. Kathryn’s place is pictured exactly as it is in photos, great location and perfectly suited for a small family like ours or a couple. Only 15 min from flag, a nice little dollar general up the road. Checkout requirements were reasonable. Fire pit was lovely and there were some small things that made it more like home namely an oscillating fan. Hahaha.
We had very few negatives to mention and they were certainly not dealbreakers and overall we were 99.9% happy with our stay so take these with a grain of salt. 1) has a jacuzzi tub but no plug. Might be a problem if you have a small child that doesn’t shower yet. 2) dang nest thermostats always be all over the place when you’re trying to sleep. We woke up randomly so hot. Would adjust it and end up hot again. 3) gel foam pillows were hard as a rock, other pillows were super small and flat but we survived that just fine. Other than that an excellent stay, we would definitely come back
