Comfy, rustic cabins at a fair price. The location was away from the bustle of the city, but is close to the main road so traffic noise is prevalent. The neighboring cabins are also close, not as private as I considered. This was not an issue for us though. We were looking for a comfortable place to sleep after a long day of hiking and Al’s was great for that!
The driveway and area surrounding the cabin is dirt. Upon arrival it was rainy so unloading wasn’t the easiest given mud. But, the cabin was very clean and cozy inside. Plenty of hot water, the heating and cooling features kept us comfy and provided us everything we needed. There is a microwave, small refrigerator, toaster oven and mini coffee pot. Coffee, sugar and snacks were provided. Towels, soaps and shampoos were fully stocked as well. The cable tv worked great and we actually had cell coverage inside the cabin (Verizon). Space is small but I was able to fit my dogs crate and our luggage. Had all we needed. Thanks!
