Pelican's Roost at 2510 Cedar Street in Galveston, TX worked very well for two senior citizen couples vacationing together. Each of us had our own privacy. Kitchen/Dining room table was perfect for game playing. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We needed a house that would work for people with mobility issues and this one was set up nicely for that. I will say that the large shower chair provided was too big for the shower in the 2nd bathroom. Fortunately, we brought a portable one with us. The couch, loveseat and recliner in the living room are comfortable but sink down low and are difficult for seniors to get up. The neighbor has a dog that sometimes barks incessantly, and it becomes a bit annoying sometimes. The house was quite clean with ample ammenities to get through the first few days. It felt home-like from the moment we walked through the door.
