This is a beautiful, comfortable and spacious home, elegant and inviting in every way. We appreciated the welcome binder with house information, and basket of snacks to greet us! The view from the living room is beyond words, truly a million dollar view. The one (major!) drawback to this property is the cliffside access road that proved to be treacherous and very scary to drive. It is a one lane road with no guard rails, and with the winter precipitation, there were huge potholes in the road that were deep and dangerous. We had to drive around them (dangerous as we had to navigate very close to the cliff edge) or drive through them ( hard on the suspension and undercarriage of our rented vehicles). We had to change our evening plans (losing deposits for a rental space and reservations at planned dinner outings) as guests did NOT want to drive on this road at night in the dark. I called the property management and we were given a token refund, but it didn't compensate for our losses.

Kathryn’s place is amazing, the views are perfectly Sedona - I don’t think there’s a bad view in all of Sedona. It was the perfect size for two families of 5- the teen girls had a room to themselves, the young boys got the bunks and both parents had king beds! The house was well equipped - everything we needed to cook for a group of 10, space for the kids to play together, the bedrooms were beautiful with comfortable beds. This was the perfect place to meet up with our friends and spend a few days together. The location can’t be beat either- close to trailheads and yet outside of the hustle of downtown areas. The best part though, was the night sky! We will definitely stay again next time we come to Sedona.

Very nice spacious home in a beautiful location. The kids played in the creek, it was perfect for our family.

Great large home with amazing views and a short steep hike down to oak creek. The kids had a great time playing by the creek with no crowds. Take a hiking stick! Very close to town.
