This was our 6th time to bring the grand-daughters to the Mermaid House and we had a great time again! The house is clean and comfortable, and right on the beach. We'll be back next year.

So much to say!
Let’s start with “the bad”, isn’t bad honestly… just that the windows at the master bedroom are soooo big and the curtains are so thin, that you get that sunrise sunshine at 6:15am. So, if you have littler one, they will be up by 6:30 sharp!
Now all the good stuff: You literally walk a few steps and are right by the beach! We went just in the middle of summer and wasn’t super busy, so the place is perfect for a relax and private time!
Neighborhood is super chill and neat’ neighbors were friendly!
If you’re a sunrise lover, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE! perfect sunrises right in front of your eyes!!!
We will be going back for sure!

Wonderful stay at the beach house. It is small packs a punch in terms of comfortable beds, overall decor and beach access. The location is one of the best on the island was proximity to a carless beach but also to in town, Galveston and wonderful restaurants nearby. Property manager is very responsive with questions. The only thing that is missing for this house is a first floor outdoor shower that is so very useful for proper rinse off from the beach. You will need to bring your own beach towels and beach gear.

Great home with great views of the Gulf. Very quiet neighborhood that was easy to find and use.

Great place on the beach. Sparkling clean and stunning views. Highly recommend.
