We highly enjoyed our stay this weekend. Unexpectedly, I booked our stay for the same weekend as the largest four day motorcycle rally in North America that is in Galveston. That was my fault for not doing my homework. So with that said, most of the island was noisy and rowdy. I’m so glad that I reserved the beachfront house that I did. We were far enough away from all of that allowing us to enjoy some beach fun, fishing and relaxation just steps away from the beach house.
I was happy that I did the following. I brought with us plenty of extra soap pods for the washing machine. The washer and dryer set is really small. We could only wash a couple of towels and one set of clothes at a time.
Bring ice! Though the refrigerator is nice and large, the ice machine does not work properly.
Bring fire starters, lighter fluid, dry wood, charcoal for the grill and fire pit. Note: we did not use the fire pit. There were too many stickers in the grass. I still give this property 5 stars.

My family really enjoyed their time at the Beach escape! The beach was just steps away, and allowed us parents to visit on the deck while our older kiddos played in the sand! It was very private and not too many people around... especially right in front of the house. Bring mosquito spray! They are a bugger, but understandably. The house was perfect and we are ready to rent it again next year!

We throughly enjoyed everything about our stay. 6 of us stayed here for a week and it was perfect. Beach was super quiet. Made tons of new memories.

This was our first family vacation. Everything was so well put together. I loved that we could cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner, that saved us so much time and money. We enjoyed the beach and didn't have to go anywhere else to have fun. The house set up was so beautiful and cozy. I miss it so much!
