The place is in a great location and really nice. The interior is updated but also has a historic charm to it. Parking is easy right outside of the gate. It is literally right in downtown and you can walk out and have accessed to restaurants, shops, entertainment in seconds. I will be looking for Porter’s place every time I’m in Flagstaff from now on.

Great apartment, right in the lively downtown area.

Great place right downtown. Hard to find. When you drive down Leroux there is an alley to your left which says Do Not Enter, wrong way. It's no big deal to turn down it and go about 50 yards. Parking on the right. There is a cool new rusty fence and gate, enter there. It's actually attached to the front of the building so that's the address. Other than that, the place was incredibly clean, close to everything. Definitely a keeper.

Great location great place

Doc’s Place exceeded our expectations. We love being close to the shops and restaurants. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. This a historic old building and my compliments to the craftsmen that did the work. It’s very hard to work on these older buildings and keep the original architectural feel. This was accomplished and done flawlessly. From the woodwork to the lighting tiles, cabinets just beautiful. No detail left out. We intend to stay here again next time we are in town. Thanks for everything!!

Overall one of the best places we have stayed! There were a few negatives, but overall the positives outweighed the few issues.
Negatives- parking was sometimes an issue since the spots are not blocked off and others would take the spots; having to pay extra to check in early where almost everywhere else we have stayed (including expensive hotels) typically let you check in early if it’s ready; shower head needs to be replaced (really the only negative inside the place)
Positives- absolutely gorgeous place inside and everything you need to be comfortable and feel at home, location can’t be beat (in the heart of downtown but feels private), comfy beds, perfect layout, outdoor space, would move in if I could!
Overall we highly recommend, just be ready to pay extra to arrive early (we asked to park in the available spots since we arrived early and were told we had to pay the full early check in fee to just park; so we didn’t. When we returned at check in time, no spots were open.
