I like to leave detailed reviews to help others in their selection.
Short review-great communication with host, house was clean, easily accessible, would stay again.
Long review-my review is response to what I read on other post:
Kitchen was fully stocked: pots, pans, baking, crock pot, toaster etc. Some necessities left behind: random spices, foil, wrap baggies etc.
House was very comfortable and seating was adequate for the ten of us, if you needed extra chairs you could bring in from another room. I didn't find this to be a "crash pad." There was plenty of entertainment, and a big backyard to explore.
Beds are firm but very comfortable. (not all 10 spent the night, but could have fit with an air mattress)
The one bedroom upstairs is a queen, stairs are very windy and would be hard for folks who have mobility issues. There is no bathroom upstairs, but there is a loft and an xbox.
The area has lots of walking paths and outdoor adventures. It is in a neighborhood, so if you are looking to be loud, throw a party with lots of people-look elsewhere. We blended in with the families and treated it as if it was our own neighborhood.
We didn't have issues with internet, and anyone in Flagstaff would tell you cell service is spotting no matter where you go (its in the forest). However, we had Verizon and ATT -no issues. Also when school is in session, if lots of kiddos or distance learning, Flagstaff internet does struggle-this is not a house issue, its a provider issue.
Minimal carpet in the house, tile/wood floors look great but you can hear throughout the house. Non-issue for us.
Host were fantastic, easy to communicate with. We weren't sure if garbage day was Monday or Thursday, so we left in the garage.
Pick the right house for the right reasons, and you will have a great vacation. This was perfect for us!
We are paying guests, just like the rest of you:) We are not friends of the host or the business. We were not compensated for this review.
