We booked this house last minute for a small getaway to the beach with a family of 5 and a dog. This house was absolutely perfect for what we wanted to do with our time.

This is a gorgeous Craftsman style house that has been updated and remodeled to fit 21st century preferences while maintaining the original character and charm of its vintage. It has a large open kitchen and a private bathroom for each bedroom. It is located at the end of a dead-end street abutting a large fenced-in park so there is no traffic flowing by. It has a large front porch with comfortable seating and views of the park. It is centrally located so essentially everything in Galveston is less than a 10-minute drive (and the Seawall is a very walkable distance).
The home itself was immaculately clean and so thoughtfully appointed it was as if someone read out minds about what we would need. The rooms are spacious and were excellent for our virtual work. One bedroom has a work desk and chair with a large monitor and printer (in addition to a king size bed). Another bedroom has 2 queen beds but still plenty of room to set up our fold-up traveling desk and chair.

Great location. Excellent choice for our group of six. Three bedrooms three bathroom bathrooms. Couldn’t ask for anything more was exactly how described and what highly recommend and stay here again.

Beautiful home and 3 amazing bathrooms! Well stocked kitchen with upscale appliances. The host was helpful and answered questions quickly. The home is on the end of a lovely, well lit dead end street, but only two car parking was a disappointment since we were vacationing with three couples. Access to the rear driveway would have been nice. We had a lovely time here and have already talked about booking this house again next year.
