We took a couple of days as a family to explore Encinitas and had an amazing time. The home was perfect, we loved the roof top patio and the walkable distance to shops and restaurants
We felt safe and kids enjoyed the beach! Note the bedrooms are on bottom floor and master on level above. Our kids are bigger so wasn’t an issue for us.

The upper rooftop view was amazing. Wasn’t a 3min walk to beach like advertised but still made it enjoyable. A Kuerig coffee pot would be a plus! It was very clean and we had a great time. Would definitely visit again.

Drawbacks were the construction on 101 which required one to drive further down the road to access unless one remembered to turn earlier, but there wasn't a great deal of traffic the week we stayed(off season). There was a musty smell on the first floor, but it wasn't overpowering. If you're a senior the number of stairs would be an impediment. There is no AC, but not an issue off season and knowing conditions of the area after living there 20 years, not an issue only a block from the bluffs. Convenient small grocery just a block away. Restaurants equally close. Safe community. Gorgeous views from the top decks. Nice to find roomy accommodations for ourselves and two adult daughters. Comfortable seating to have a few guests over to socialize. Great amount of windows and exterior light that lets you experience the San Diego feeling. You know you're on vacation!

Fantastic home! Very clean and comfortable. The rooftop patio was so nice! Having the small grocery store down the street was so convenient.
