We stayed here for our annual family vacation. The four separate apartments were perfect for our group, and the 8 parking spaces worked nice for our 4 cars. Had to park my truck on the street, but wasn't really an issue. Easy check in process. Host was a good communicator. Perfect location to enjoy the beach and the bay, both within a 5 min walk. Each apartment had all the necessities. Comfy beds. Our favorite part was the huge gathering area/porch on the first level. Felt very private and had place for the kids to run around. We enjoyed eating together each night around the big table outside. The upstairs porch was a nice place to chill as well. This property belongs to some kind of beach toy rental program. We got bikes free of charge, with a deposit. This property does not have A/C. We knew that but thought the time of year would be ok. It was hot! That was the biggest negative of the trip. They do have ceiling and rotary fans in each apartment, but didn't help much as the days really didn't cool down like normal. We put them outside in the downstairs gathering area which helped as we gathered each evening. The downstairs 3 bedroom master bath doesn't have a shower, weird, but the upstairs does have a powerful shower. The fire alarm in the upper master would go off when the upstairs or downstairs dryer was on. Had to take it down for our stay. Garbage day is Tuesday and someone comes and puts it out. Overall had an awesome stay at this property! Would be perfect with A/C.

We absolutely loved staying here on Mission Beach during our conference. The property made it easy for our group of 10 people to each get their own room and maintained a good ratio of bathrooms:guests. The property is clean, well taken care of, and had only one minor negative aspect which was the lack of air conditioning. Thankfully we were there during the spring and it wasn’t getting too hot, but I can imagine that the top apartments would be fairly warm during some of the summer months. The communication with the hosts was incredible. We were able to receive our check in information a couple of days in advance so we were all prepared ahead of time. Additionally, one member of our group accidentally left her wallet and the hosts were able to communicate with us quickly and efficiently to have the lost wallet sent back to her. We really appreciated the location being so close to the beach and within walking distance of a couple of wonderful coffee shops. Though we didn’t have a lot of time to spend at Mission beach, the proximity made it easy to make full use of what little time we did have. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a place to stay that is reliable, respectable, clean, and close to the beach!

The host was very responsive. We had some trouble with our WiFi and they immediately sent troubleshooting tips. It turned out one of my daughters had accidentally unplugged the router. We loved the proximity to the beach, it’s about 5 units in from the walking path along Mission Beach. We took the provided chairs and boogie boards out and sat by the beach several times. It was very private, far away from the public area by Belmont Park, yet still an enjoyable walk right along the beach to get to the shops. It is also within walking distance to several coffee shops, restaurants and stores. We had all 4 units and the lower deck was spacious and there was room for all 19 of us. My only complaint was you couldn’t run both dryers at once. They seem to be vented together and the steam from the upper dryer comes through to the lower dryer and the clothes don’t dry. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great location , units were very clean

The apartments are very well equipped with beach gear (towels, chairs, toys) and kitchen supplies. We especially appreciated having sharp knives, tongs, BBQ tools, etc. We had 4 generations of family and there was space for all of us to gather in the outside space on the ground floor. the upstairs patio could be secured for the toddlers to wander. Comfy beds and the apartments were very clean and tidy. Excellent location and having parking is essential since street parking is challenging. I would be happy to return!

This property was ideal for our family of 20 attending a wedding in La Jolla. Response for booking, confirmation and information provided in timely manner and transaction was seamless. Property is in great location and very close to beach and many amenities. Each unit very clean and fully stocked with all you need (kitchen supplies, bath towels, paper goods, etc.) as well as beach needs (chairs, beach toys and games and beach towels). The parking spaces were great to have available as we did rent cars. Would recommend and refer anyone to this property - we had a great stay - would not hesitate to rebook!
