Great stay, right across from beach. Great food and coffee within walking distance.

We had a marvelous stay at this location. It is a stones throw from a pretty bay and a very short walk to the ocean. Owners were responsive to a text question we had. It is small and really does not accommodate more than five as the listing says. It was perfect for us.

I stayed at the Bayside Bikini for almost a month while working remotely. The rental had everything I needed to make it feel like home. The home is outfitted with a beautiful modern and clean interior design. The location is unbeatable. I was a short walk from both the bay and the beach which my dog and I loved for morning and sunset walks. The neighborhood is extremely friendly and quiet. I also greatly appreciated the convenient parking and accessible washer and dryer. The property management was easy to work with and extremely helpful. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and clean stay near the water in San Diego!

We stayed during a heatwave so when we arrived, it was really hot and there was no AC. I’m sure a lot of properties lack AC in this area and depend on the bay breeze so I wasn’t too upset. Each bedroom had a ceiling fan and that was helpful. If the living room also had one that would’ve been even better. The kitchenware is ample and there’s even a grill that was brand new when we used it. The patio was perfect to sit out on and relax. There was even enough room to lock up our 4 bikes and bike trailer on the patio. There were beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys that were perfect since we didn’t bring these items with us. There was no umbrella but if there was, that would be the icing on the cake. We were only steps from the sand. This side of the bay was the cleaner side as we have stayed in other locations along bayside drive in the past and the bay water wasn’t so clean. This was also a pet friendly location so it was perfect so we could bring our pup along. The parking was large enough for a truck and that is one thing that sold me on this location. We have rented numerous Mission Bay/Beach houses before and to find parking with enough space for a truck can be difficult. We would definitely stay here again.
