Overall very positive experience. We could see dolphins every day from the deck. Details below:
Pros
The View
Location - 10-20 minutes to everything that isn’t in walking distance
Car fit into garage with enough space to crawl out passenger side (not always true in mission beach area).
Space. Large bedrooms, good size living room and kitchen. Spacious deck with ample furniture, actually had to move some to the side just to declutter
Beach gear. It was great while our friends and kids were with us that we had beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards right there

Cons
Property manager was mostly responsive but inconsistent and not solution oriented. The first day we reported a “chirping” noise coming from the refrigerator. Over the next 7 days we exchanged a sporadic combination of emails and texts where the manager operated mostly as triage and not focusing on actually resolving the issue. At times I’d go days without hearing from them while the loud chirping drowned out the sounds of the waves - it was miserable. On day 7 the appliance guy helped us move the fridge and found the cricket, but the manager never confirmed or tied off with us. This whole thing was super frustrating.
Maintenance can come and go as they please whether you are there or not, when communication from property manager isn’t great, this feels invasive
Finishing touches - pocket doors in master not aligned and don’t slide smoothly. Glass door in master shower doesn’t align, therefore doesn’t close and bangs into the glass wall.
Master bed could use topper like other beds in second bedroom
Internet not great to the point where the living room tv is mostly unwatchable. It would repeatedly freeze and glitch and need to be restarted
Suggestions
Pay for higher tier internet unless spectrum is just that terrible
Sweat the small stuff, have a contractor touch up the fit of the shower door and pocket doors, this takes away from the potential high end feel
Communicate more directly and effectively and focus on solving the actual problem and confirming with the guest that they’re happy instead of simply triaging
