Great location, very clean. Well stocked kitchen (but very sensitive fire alarm). The house is right on the busy boardwalk, so not super private. But good people watching!

As other guests have mentioned, the view in incomparable. You will fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the crashing waves. The location was ideal for exploring San Diego, and as a spot to rest and relax between excursions. We hope to return during warmer weather and take greater advantage of the easy beach access. House is well stocked with the basics, including beach chairs and towels. Parking spot also a welcome convenience.

My husband & I have been coming to Mission Beach for 15 years. I'm pleased to say this was the best VRBO we have stayed in. The decor was nice, the unit was clean, the master bed was comfortable, the views were amazing, the kitchen was well stocked, and the process was made very easy.

The unit looks pretty much as advertised. The view is spectacular and so is the location. Our unit manager Nick was really helpful and made the stay easy. The parking spot was also very convenient. Would definitely stay again sometime!

We loved our visit to this modern beach house. The best thing: RIGHT on the beach. The strand is one step out the front door. It's a very modern, clean apartment that is one of 3 adjoined units. It was spotless. The whole front of the apartment, upstairs and downstairs, is glass, so you can see the beach all day - there is one-way glass so that people can't see in during the day, and at night you can pull shades down to block anyone from seeing in. The upstairs bed is very high, and you see the beach from the bed as you wake up. The kitchen seems fully stocked, although we never cooked here. We ate our breakfasts at The Mission, a breakfast/lunch restaurant one block away. We ate our dinners out at a variety of restaurants. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The beach here is beautiful, I'm sure great for swimming and surfing, although we were there during November, which is not good swimming weather unless you wear a wetsuit. There is space for one car to park, which is adequate. The apartment is small, so I don't recommend it for more than 2 people, or possibly some kids which could sleep on the sleeper sofa in the "living room" area on the ground floor. The 2 bathrooms and kitchen are very modern and nice. We visited the San Diego Zoo and Sea World, which are only about 1/2 hour driving time away.
