This place is truly incredible. Watched whales, dolphins, and otters from the porch, walked down to private surf every morning. Highly recommend.

This beautiful cottage has incredible ocean views, great decor, wonderful outdoor spaces- oceanfront patio with fire pit, great kitchen, comfy bed, beautiful gardens of exotic succulents, great location in cute Encinitas 30 minutes north of San Diego. The rental company was responsive and has good communication. Cottage is cozy (~1000 sq feet) but expansive windows make it feel roomy, for a couple. Loved it! Would definitely return.

Beautiful house in a beautiful area! Walking distance to great cafes and restaurants. Spectacular ocean view and perfect surfing location!

Everything was great. The view, the location. The house was sparkling clean. And the host always available to answer our questions. Will definitely come back.

This property is simply stunning! The pictures of the sunsets on the listing pulled us in but experiencing the sunset and views in person was on a different level. You can see surfers out riding the waves from dawn til dusk and we were fortunate to see whales and dolphins from the house balcony.
The house itself is adorable and has everything we needed and wanted. The local recommendations came in very useful and the owners have partnered with local concierge services to make it more welcoming. We traveled with 2 kids and were able to rent a crib and toys for our duration and any questions we had were answered very quickly.
The neighborhood of Encinitas and in particular the road this house is situated on is fun in itself. People walking, running, cycling, walking their dogs....the majority stopped to say hi as we walked outside and made us feel so welcome. We struck up more conversations with locals in 4 days than I think I have all year in Dallas.
The restaurant scene is unbelievable and we ate amazing food every day at locally owned places.
Only 35mins from San Diego, we’d split our days with mornings in San Diego and the rest of the day at the house.
I’ve been to many places and stayed at many rentals but I’d say this is the most amazing experience we’ve had and came at a very reasonable price point for what we experienced.
