We have stayed in a number of rentals on the beach and this was definitely a top favorite! It was spacious, great location, clean and comfortable. Looking forward to renting again!

The home was perfect for our short stay in San Diego. We loved being so close to the beach. The home had everything we needed for our family of 5, restaurants near by were fantastic. Place was clean and tidy.

Great location just a minute walk away from the ocean and a bay. Rented bikes and rode the boardwalk which was fun. Location is great - parking as noted in other reviews is not as great. We were there over a weekend which has more relaxed hours for parking on the street. If staying during the week, you may need to figure out longer term parking solutions like a parking garage, which seemed to be a little pricey. Overall, the location worked great for our group and i would stay here again.

Great spot ideal for beach.

Pros: It is steps away from the ocean or Mission Bay. There are so many restaurants and shops on Mission Boulevard. A grocery store is a 15-minute walk away. Better Buzz offers good coffee (5 minutes away). It is 15 to 20 minutes by car to many attractions (Sea World, downtown, Zoo, Balboa Park, etc.). It's a cozy little apartment. The deco is even better in person. Everything you need to cook for four adults and kids dishes are available.Cons: It's a business, and they seem busy. We had only two dishcloths for a whole week. We asked for more, and they responded that they "provide two onsite." We washed them ourselves while doing laundry (a laundromat is available across the street). We ran out of toilet paper and paper towels. We didn't bother to contact them since every time we did, we felt annoying to them.

The location was literally steps from both the beach and the bay. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well-stocked. Easy walking distance to grocery stores, drug stores, etc.The rental team was great when we needed new towels due to our family getting the Norovirus while there. We did have to purchase our own toilet paper as the rental comes with a finite amount (definitely adequate if a family wasn't sick). We saw our neighbor only once and never heard him. We would have liked the added security of a deadbolt on the door to our place as it only locked with a code. The code was the same as the gate, so we were concerned that the neighbor may be able to access our apartment as well (never confirmed with the company, so this may have been a needless worry). Overall, it made an excellent home base for our trip to San Diego.
