Loved the place - wanted to stay longer - would definitely come back

I stayed here for 3 weeks as a little solo retreat for my dog and me. The location was incredible and I loved my daily morning and evening walks to the beach. You can see & hear the ocean right as you walk out the front door and it’s pretty magical. The cottage itself was cute & spacious. The living room was super cozy and kitchen was stocked with everything I needed. Water pressure in the shower was great. My only feedback would be that the space was much older in the interior than I expected from the pictures/price and the windows were really difficult to open and didn’t all close all the way, which was not ideal. That being said, I would definitely come back here to stay and really enjoyed my time. Thank you!!

Perfect location! A little over a block from the beach, and walkable to La Jolla Village and Birdrock. Our bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was strong. We will rent this cottage again on our next trip to La Jolla.

We stayed at the Surf Shack 3 location. I have to say awesome!!! The house was great and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Also, being so close to the beach made the trip even more enjoyable. Finally, the management team was great. I would highly recommend Surf Style Vacation Homes.

Surf Shack 1 is sooo cute, loved the proximity to Windansea and shops, loved not having any walls attached to to other units, and we were able to bring our dog. Check Check and Check!
