I wanted a beach vacation and San Diego is one of my favorite cities. Wanted to be directly on the boardwalk and on the beach. I found Surf Style 1 for the dates I needed. It was perfect. Stunning views all around and an amazing balcony for people watching. Everything was slick, self check-in and check-out. The location was almost perfectly centrally located. Plenty of people out and about but not as busy as Belmont Park or the Pier area. I can't really put into words how great everything was.

We stay here every year for my birthday. The place is always clean with everything we need! We love everything about staying here ESPECIALLY THE BED!! We love that it's high up and we can see the ocean right from bed and ohhh soooo comfy! See you next year Surf Style and thanks again! Love "The Mazzola's"

This is a perfect spot for a couple looking to stay in Mission Beach. The property is clean and has everything you need for a great home base. Having the beach stuff (chairs, towels, etc) included was nice. And the open air kitchen and bedroom are both fantastic. Drinking our morning coffee and people watching at the open slider was one of our favorite things. The only two minimal criticisms I can make are that if you like to sleep with the windows open it does stay somewhat loud late into the night (though nothing like PB a few blocks up). And also the upstairs shower leaks, which appeared to be an issue with the actual tray used/construction as opposed to the glass or seal. It wasn't a huge deal to us, I just felt bad that the floor had water pooled up outside of the shower any time we used it. Absolutely would stay again.

If you like watching sunsets from your own bed, this place won't disappoint! We loved that everything facing the ocean is full floor glass tinted windows. The entire top floor is the master bedroom with a lovely balcony. Easy parking. Everything was neat and clean. Our only complaint was overflowing trash in the alley.
