Perfect setup for our family of 7! It was my husband, parents, & 3 children ages 2, 4, & 7. We loved the open layout in the living room, the size of the master was large enough to fit our packnplay, our other 2 kids stayed in the twin bedroom while my parents used the Queen bedroom. We normally stay on the Ocean, but being on the Bay was ideal for our younger children as it was a bit more laid back & easier to watch the kids in the water. Very clean, just as advertised, Nick was very responsive, plenty of kitchenware & towels, convenient having laundry in the unit, very bright & sunny home, we absolutely loved it!

Every year my family (two teenagers, and husband) and I plan a trip during Spring break so that we can bond and make some good memories. This year we decided on San Diego and I have to say that we choose the right place to stay. We had never been to SD before but many friends said that Mission Beach/Bay is the place to be. Well, I agree on the Mission BAY piece as the BEACH side was WAY to BUSY and NOISY for our tastes. That being said, let's talk about the unit. The pictures are true to life...it's decorated beautifully, super clean, and very functional. I loved that we were not on the first floor and the views of the bay (and sunrise every morning) were spectacular. You could pretty-much walk to anyplace you wanted to go (including Sea World) and both the bay and beach had great promenades that went on for miles along the shore lines (GREAT morning walks). The unit also had lots of beach stuff...including NEW (still with tags) lounge chairs..we enjoyed a few hours of sun EVERY day and being on the bay was way more quiet so I even got to nap. The property manager (Nick) was very pleasant and easy to work with. We didn't have any issues with the unit during our stay but my ONLY recommendation would be to get different chairs on the balcony. The wicker stools are cute but not very comfortable...a small table would be a good addition as well....just thought I would pass that along.
