This property is everything you're hoping it is.
The cabin is beautiful and well-stocked.
It is beyond luxurious, and the view is incredible in every direction.
The location is fantastic.
We brought a group of 13, including 9 kids, and spent most of a week.
The house was just about perfect.
The one very minor head's up I'll offer is that it does not have A/C, only heat.
We went in mid-July and had to open the (screened) windows a few times to cool off the house, but because of the altitude, it was never terribly hot.
We saw a moose(!) while hiking one day, and enjoyed tons of birds - especially hummingbirds - and lots of beautiful flowers on the hiking trail, which is accessible within just a few minutes' walk from the house.
The little town at the bottom of the hill is fun and tourist-y. Bring your wallet and expect to spend $20-$30 per person to eat out anywhere.
If you want a fun adventure that doesn't require the long drive to the national park, look up Byers Peak, which is a gorgeous, 8'ish mile round trip hike to the top of a mountain, with a trailhead about 40 min from the cabin.
We plan to go back some day and I can't wait.
