This was our first trip to Amelia Island and we did not know where to stay. We picked this unit because it was close to the beach. The unit is in a well maintained condominium complex, in a private corner location. We had no impact from other condominium residents, but those that we met seemed pleasant and friendly. We did not take advantage of the pool or the tennis court, but they were both available, in nice shape, and being used by the residents.
The walk to the beach was short and easy. It was a pleasant 3 mile drive to historic Fernandina, and there were beautiful nature walks close by. We were sorry that we were only there for two nights - we could easily have stayed longer.
The beds and linens were comfortable, the unit was tastefully decorated, and perfectly appointed for a long stay. I could easily see myself spending a month in that unit.
The hosts were very responsive, there are a lot of rules and regulations but they were very clearly communicated and all made sense.
