We experienced numerous issues during our stay. Our access code didn’t work, and we couldn’t reach anyone, forcing us to track down a cleaning staff member for help. The home was in poor condition: dirty walls, buckled floors, stained furniture, a leaking pool, broken futon with stains, and unstable bunk beds. The A/C didn’t cool properly, and the filter was filthy. The washer had visible mold and smelled bad. The deck had loose boards, no shade, and trash under the porch. Inside, roaches and palmetto bugs were present, and the kitchen sink was backed up. The front door had no interior lock, creating a safety concern for kids. Several fixtures were broken or missing, and the backyard and landscaping were overgrown and neglected. Listing said no refund and we felt left to deal with these problems and suck it up.
