Pelican Beach is a great location with a spacious condo for two

We spent a week here and loved it. The resort is located close to everything, the pools are just perfect and the beach is great. Only con I have is that they don’t allow canopies on the beach. We had a hard time keeping the 2 yo and 4 yo playing under a the umbrellas in the heat of day

Easy check in, close to restaurants and attractions, perfect spot on the beach. Convenient on site food service, beverages, etc.

This condo was very clean and the view of the beach was beautiful.

Everything was easy and convenient. Condo was perfect for two people and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and linens were clean. Could use some updating. View of the ocean was very nice and the patio was a good size.

The property has everything you need. Beautiful beach, 3 pools, covered parking, and a Cafe. Our view of the beach was fantastic. We had a unit on the side so I was concerned that we might not be able to hear the waves but we could and we had a city view also which was a bonus. Beds are very comfortable, living room furniture not so much, it should be replaced with something more comfortable and substantial.

We were very pleased with the condo at Pelican Beach Resort. It was clean and well stocked. It was a short distance to the beach which was great for us since my husband has health issues. The renting process was simple as well as the check in and check out process.

Great rooms, great beach, helpful staff

Pelican Beach was the perfect get away form myself and family. We had a 1 year old with us and it was still one of the easiest vacations I've ever been on. Booking with Panhandle Getaways was easy. The only thing I didn't like about that process was that you had to download an app to get access to wifi password and other info. It wasn't a big deal but when your phone has limited memory space and you are excited to get to the beach, the last thing you want to do is download an app. Anyway, check in was simple when we arrived. One other thing we didnt like was the wristbands. If you are staying at the resort they ask for you to wear wristbands like you are on spring break and might get lost from your group. I think there is a better way to prove you belong at the resort. I get what they are trying to do but by the end of the week it stunk and left a terrible tan line. Back to the good. PBR had a lot of carts to use for unloading. This seems like a minor detail but those who have traveled with kids understand how many items had to be transported to the room. There were two access elevators which was nice. I liked that the property had security and a guard at the shack when you pulled in. Makes everything feel safe. Parking was simple. Nice lighted garage. the condo was clean, the floor was a little greasy or something but it wasn't terrible. great view of the beach and pool. We had plenty of room, beds were ok, plenty of pillows and extra blankets, showers were clean, it was decorated nicely. They had 2 sets of patio furniture out on the balcony which was nice. A/C worked well. On beach days it was nice that the Cafe on property sold ice, that was always a pain having to leave to go get ice for the cooler. The Cafe served all day till about 5 or 7. Pool was nice but is in the shade around 3pm. Nice if you've been on the beach all day but if you just wanted sun at the pool get there early. The tiki hut that served drinks was awesome. We ordered there several days and you can order food as well. The access from the lobby to the boardwalk could have been wider. We had a lot of gear and it was tough to get all our stuff down there and also let other people walk by. Beach chair guys were great. Very helpful getting us to our chairs, moved us up on Wednesday to the front row, it was affordable as well. Mostly families at the beach so that was nice. Showers when you came off beach worked well. Overall it was a fantastic experience and we plan to go again!
