We could not have been more thrilled with this property or our stay at Sunny Daze. The home itself is gorgeous and incredibly comfortable with all the "at home" amenities you will need. I'd love to hire their decorator!! HA! It's location is fantastic - less than a minute's walk to a generously heated pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, a playground area and well lit basketball court. When my 10yo boy wasn't at the beach, he was shooting hoops, playing pickle ball with his dad or hanging at the pool. It's also less than a three minute walk to the beach. The lounge chair service was heavenly. The waters couldn't have been more clear or beautiful. The beaches were so quiet, not even close to being crowded. It felt at times like we had the beach to ourselves! I felt like Carillon had a Seaside like feel to it minus the chaotic (and super fun) food truck/shopping scene. But it was close enough to Seaside (15 minutes maybe?!) that we were able to spend time there as well when we felt like being less lazy and more social :). We've been vacationing in the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach area for over 10 years now but fell in love with 30A about 3 years ago. We are so over the moon thrilled to have found this GEM of a home/area in Carillon Beach. If I could move tomorrow I would! It was the perfect getaway for our family of five (kids are 9, 10 and 13) to reconnect, relax, and adventure. We rent through VRBO 1-2 per year and have for years so if I could leave one teeny, tiny critique for the owner, it would be to get a smaller area rug for the screened in porch area. The front door catches on the rug EVERY time you open the door and prevents you from being able to open the door all the way. So, when you're carrying in loads of luggage, groceries, or all the beach "stuff", it can get a little annoying. I would also add (because I did not catch this when I was looking at properties) that renters should be aware that the bedroom with the bunk beds is on the first floor and it is the ONLY bedroom on the first floor. Because our kiddos are older now, that worked out great! BUT when they were smaller, it would have made me a little uneasy to have them be sleeping alone on the main level. We would stay at this property again in a heartbeat and feel very blessed to have had this time together in such a PERFECT home/area.

great house and location!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Wonderful location and the management communication was great. The master bedroom mattress is hard and a little uncomfortable but not unbearable. Overall, we had an excellent time.

Really clean and peaceful place to stay. We loved the house and the property. Only problem was the Saturday gate check in process. If you arrive between 3-5:50pm you can expect to take at least 30 minutes to get in. Even going to the store afterwards took 30 minutes to get back in. Traffic was backed up with everyone arriving to get checked in.

Summer vacation was great. We really enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit is beautiful, clean, comfortable and very well equipped! Awesome find for a last minute switch after Hurricane Sally hitting Gulf Shores!

One error which got corrected fairly quickly concerning access to door key. Combination provided was wrong. Second combo provided was wrong. Third try worked fine. Outside of that a great stay. We truly enjoy Carillon and that’s why we keep coming back.

We loved our week in Sunny Daze. The location is great for walks to the pool or beach. The furniture on the porches was nice and cozy for enjoying a glass of tea and a good book. The kitchen was well equipped. Our kids loved the games we found on the shelves. We highly recommend Sunny Daze and hope to return!
