Great experience being lakeside. Peaceful, friendly neighbors, quiet. Don't know why we waited the last day but do walk around the beach/pier and surroundings. for some reason I thought it was a standalone property.. that's my fault. it's shared with other people. The only other thing is a few of the pillows upstairs smelled like vomit so had to push those out before sleeping

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Lakeland Village in South Lake Tahoe has its own dock. It also has two pools and two hot tubs and a private beach. There are also firepits which you can make smores and warm up by the fire. Initially I was feeling edgy because there are so many rules and regulations (can come with steep fines if not followed.) However, the fireplace was not working nor was the microwave. They were prompt in addressing both issues-I felt much better when we had concerns, R and R rentals were receptive and worked quickly to resolve those issues. The location is perfect, close to everything, yet you feel secluded in your own townhome. They had coffee complimentary to make, the place was spacious and gorgeous, plenty of beach towels, everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked although we would have liked to have bigger coffee cups and more spoons. You may need to bring trash to the dumpster. It was very nice and a perfect place for a friends or family get away.

Absolutely perfect stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better—close to everything yet still peaceful. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
