Happy Hiker is a wonderful house and property for large families and groups of friends. The wooden Indian statue greeted us in the driveway, and the setting adjacent to a cul-de-sac snd trailhead, with no houses and only trees behind it, is lovely, private, and serene. The house is very clean and well stocked. There are hooks on two trees along the lush green lawn for a hammock (not provided), and I was glad I brought mine! The only small quibbles are that the carpets could use a cleaning or replacement, and the kitchen could benefit from a couple of sharper knives and a screen on the window above the sink. Overall we recommend this highly and look forward to coming back. The property manager RNR Vacation Rentals is also very attentive and helpful.

We stayed a whole week at Pioneer Pines. The four of us and our dog had the best of everything from a fully stocked kitchen to the hot tub and laundry facilities. My two daughter’s had their own rooms downstairs and a bathroom. Which was just right for two teen girls. Everything in the vacation home worked well, we had no issues. It was very clean and the decor was very appealing. The WiFi access was available and the location of the home was in the perfect location to the lake, shopping and dining. The neighbors are very kind and the neighborhood is welcoming and quiet. The hosts were accessible for questions and open to our feedback. Being summer I thought we would need a house with AC but the ceiling fans and open windows were perfectly fine for Lake Tahoe’s weather. Overall this was one of the best vacations our family has ever had and we would definitely stay in this vacation home again. I searched for several places to stay and it took a lot of time while booking this trip and I am so happy to say it was worth it! So, if you’re looking for the perfect place to stay, look no further because this is the one!

Checkin was easy, only thing the kitchen was missing was more larger dinner plates, only were 2 large plates to use. Great views of sunset and access to beach. Only low points would be the extremely loud fan in the 2nd floor bathroom. It would wake everyone up during the night. Also the sap on the deck, chairs and benches, would recommend bringing those cheap table covers

The property was spacious, well laid out and very clean. it had all the amenities I have at home. it was lovely

This was our first visit to Lake Tahoe and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay at the beautiful condo. The location was perfect— walkable to so many great restaurants and entertainment. This unit has a great view of the pool. The beds were very comfortable and furnishing stylish and met all our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

R and R was great. Ran into a couple issues but was resolved and they communicated quickly.

Lakeland Village is a beautiful community of townhouses nestled in gorgeous private part of South Lake Tahoe. Their private beach was beautiful, clean, and access to lounge chairs. Two pools on property. Hosts had excellent communication, making it incredibly easy to find the site and check in after hours. Nice kitchen, available grill on the porch, great for cooking family dinners. We really appreciated the laundry facilities and included beach towels. Location was amazing and surprisingly walkable to grocery stores, bike rentals, restaurants, and the marina for lake cruises. We would look to come back and visit again!
