I loved our stay at this place so much! The unit was right next to parking which was so convenient for loading & unloading the car. The pool and lakeside was great. We still ended up driving to Zephyr cove, but it’s really not far and this place is walking distance to both whole foods and the tahoe keys marina, so we could walk right to our jet ski and paddle boarding rentals no problem. The beds were comfy and the place was spacious. The kitchen has everything you need, and washer/dryer was great. Only downside was that the bathrooms are a teeny bit small if anyone in your group is a large or tall person. Yes, there are bears so please educate yourself on bear safety and do not leave food out or in your car. This is normal anywhere in Tahoe. Other than that, it was an amazing stay & we definitely will rebook next summer.

The bear cave worked very well for our mountain biking vacation. The 3 of us had separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The place was very nice, clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and the neighborhood was very quiet. Also, it is located very close to many trail heads that we made great use of. I would recommend the bear cave to anyone wanting to stay in South Lake Tahoe.

This property was excellent. It had everything you needed and was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and located close to everything. We would stay at this property again when we come back to town.

House is huge and exceptionally well stocked for a large family or group. The home was very clean and in great condition when we arrived. The host was responsive to our needs throughout and had to deal with a major appliance failure during our stay that they handled as well as could be expected. We would choose this home and this host again with confidence.

Really comfortable apartment, very clean, and rental staff were very helpful. Beautiful location with dedicated beach, reserved for guests staying within the complex.

Check in was seamless. The home was absolutely perfect and location could not have been better. We used kitchen facilities and it was equipped with everything we needed. Great stay.
