We had a wonderful winter stay at Heavenly Horizon Chalet. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, and easily sleeps six people. After a day on the slopes, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax by the fireplace. The location is hard to beat. The chalet is about a two-minute walk to the tram at California Lodge. Another highlight is the large deck facing the slopes. The view of the mountain is fantastic and really adds to the whole experience of staying there. Were thinking it would be great to come back in the summer. The mountain is right there for hiking, and the backyard has a lovely sitting area that would be perfect for relaxing outside in warmer weather. Plus it's fenced, so our dog can't escape. Did I mention the chalet is dog friendly?

It was a little far to lug skis with children to the gondola but we ended up renting a truck so we tossed everything in the back and parked in the garage at the base. It would def be walkable in warmer months without ski gear. Otherwise it was great!

Nothing beats the sunset view, from the private beach or from the home’s large windows. Plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 4 children. House was clean, super comfy, and bed sheets and towels smelled very clean. You may want to bring your own throw blankets (which we did, just in case). Loved this one!!

Everything about this property makes you welcomed. Beautiful getaway place right at the waterfront. The kitchen was fully equipped, felt right at home. There could be some improvements made on lighting fixtures on ground floor.

We had such a wonderful time staying here! It is a beautiful home and the kitchen is a dream! They even provided locally roasted coffee, which was delicious. The space feels so homey and inviting. The hosts were super easy to communicate with and friendly. We will be booking with them again in the future!

This was the perfect place for our family vacation. The backyard playground, theater room and games were a hit with the kids. The hot tub and fully stocked kitchen made the adults happy. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We’d stay here again.
