We had a great time here and would recommend it to anyone. Other reviews were concerned Of the construction nearby but we didn’t have any issues with the noise. Beds were comfortable. Beach was next door, and nearby food / shopping was just a 5-10 min walk. Great location!

My family and I have been coming here for the past 9 years and each year is better than the last! If I have to complain about something it would be for the cleaners to pay close attention to the amount of dust on the walls in the bedrooms.

We had such a wonderful trip as a family! The house was adorable, clean and comfortable for our 6 family members. Bedroom #1 has a comfortable king sized bed, bedroom #2 and 3 have comfortable Queen sized beds. There is a queen sized pull out couch bed in the living room. The house is well stocked with enough dishes, pots, pans, dish soap, etc. The coffee pot is drip type. There were a few beach chairs and umbrellas for guest use. The location is phenomenal! Just steps to the beach or bay and only a 15 minute walk to the pier and fun zone. We had a great time!

Very clean. Cute and cozy home. Great location and super close to the beach. We will be back :)

Cozy house by the beach

We loved how close this was to the beach even though we stayed there in the winter. Our kids still begged to go to the beach and it was nice that is was so close as we could spend just a short amount of time there and not have to make an entire day out of it.

This was the first time we stayed below the Balboa pier, closer to the wedge and it was perfect. Much quieter, less crowded, and the home we stayed in was beautiful. Looking forward to staying there again.

This was my first VRBO. Nice place. Perfect for the 4 of us, as each teenager got their own room. I was worried about being too far from the beach or wanting a beach view, but I can say this is VERY close the the beach (300 ft) yet cheaper than being on the beach, and more private. I’d highly recommend being off the beach as the beach has a big dirt burm that prevents you from seeing the ocean anyway. One bathroom sink wasn’t clean when we got there. There were lots of ants in the kitchen but it looked like a known issue as the owners had placed lots of ant traps. Construction noise next door was only a problem on Monday and Tuesday of our 5 day stay. Kinda far down the peninsula, which means 5-10 minutes added to your drives, but also means you’re farther from the hustle/bustle/commercial areas, which is way nice. Kitchen was nice. Grilling on the back patio was nice. Grill has a smoker side which could be useful. Highly recommend.

Quiet nights. enough beds for all. Close walk to beach, and wedge. Close enough to rent bikes and far enough for peaceful stay. Thank you!!
