We love staying at The Palms. The location is unbeatable! We always stay in one of the two beachfront buildings for the amazing view. This unit is beautifully decorated and furnished. The furniture and beds (King and bunks) are very comfortable. Only wish was that the bunks had an electrical outlet so my daughter could plug her phone in to charge (she uses it as a sound machine at night). We will book this unit again next year!

We absolutely loved this location. The view from the master bedroom was breathtaking. I had to work a few days while there and it definitely made working on vacation a little easier with that view.
Highly recommend this place to stay due to the proximity to the beach entrance. It was so close and nice to be able to let the kids go back to the home while I stayed a little longer. Also, not having to worry about parking was a huge benefit.
The beach was not crowded at all compared to different locations we've stayed along 30A.
Just a heads up, as I didn't read the review as closely as I should have; the ground floor living room and bedroom are not connected inside the house. You have to walk outside the unit and up the stairs to get into the main level. We had to do some rearranging as I had originally had the younger kids staying down there but didn't feel comfortable with that. There is also no door on the ground floor bedroom.
Overall, we'd 100% stay at this location again!

We rented Family Ties for a weeklong getaway for myself my friend and our 16 year old daughters. The location was absolutely perfect!!! We were midway between Rosemary and Alys Beach restaurants. The Seacrest Sundries below the apartment had everything we needed and the live music from the bar was excellent. Additionally, the shops below were fabulous for breakfast, lunch, gifts and cute sundresses for dinner. Would definitely come back. The only recommendation would be to provide 2-4 beach chairs and beach towels.

We absolutely loved the place! Everything was excellent from start to finish. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly well-equipped — especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook comfortably during our stay. The location couldn’t have been better, just a short walk from the beach, which made it so easy to enjoy the ocean every day.
The beds were also extremely comfortable, which made a big difference in helping us rest and recharge. We truly felt at home. The attention to detail, the cleanliness, and the overall atmosphere were beyond our expectations.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely love to return next year. Thank you for providing such a fantastic experience!

The place was beautiful, clean, and easy access to the beach. They were VERY responsive to our needs/messages and even after forgetting a pillow, they made the effort to find it and are going to ship it back. The master bed was also very comfortable which I can almost never say about any hotel or Airbnb accommodations.

So this property is not fancy like most, its not updated at all but what I will say is it was very clean, beds were comfy and plenty of room. I will definitely be back.

Amazing beach side condo. Recently beautifully remodeled. Perfectly clean, everything works, even the ice maker!!! Only thing I would add would be a garbage disposal ( I hate to even mention that because the condo really is otherwise perfect!)

Lovely apartment with direct access to the beach! It was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed. I was really looking for someplace right next to the sea, and this fit that need perfectly. I was easily able to walk back and forth so I could rest in my room for awhile, then return to the water without having to make a big trip. Private parking was a lovely bonus, and checking in/out was super easy. Their check-out to-do list was very reasonable and simple, and communication was good. Was within walking distance of many things, including Emerald Spa (try the Thai massage!). Would absolutely return to stay again!

Great location with a great nearby beach access. The pool area was lovely and the house was exactly as advertised. One thing to note (& they mention this in the listing) would be that they do not provide much in the way of toiletries, paper products, trash bags or kitchen cleaning products- so when you go to the local market be sure to get some of these things & coffee for your stay….As long as you do that, you will have a really enjoyable stay here. The cottage is quite cozy and the beds are comfy!

Great spot with the kids! The private backyard with a pool was great! A super short walk to the beach made it very easy with a 5 and 1 year old. Cozy space with comfortable beds and pillows. We had a great stay!

Overall great experience ! House was clean and had everything we needed and was a great location! Slight inconvenience that the pool code was not working after multiple attempts to get in and both trash cans were full of trash upon arrival. Again both minor inconveniences and I wouldn’t base them on affecting our stay.

Beautiful 2nd floor condo, well-equipped, clean, ocean view, nice pool, and kids loved finding some beach toys in a closet. Great location with easy bike ride to Seaside. Would recommend replacing/fixing main bedroom king bed (sagging in the middle as another review mentioned) and maybe a system to keep track of beach chairs per condo (some families would take up more than their allotted 2 beach chairs, leaving very few for others / occasionally running out of chairs on busy days). Overall though, great stay!

The condo was excellent! The location is super convenient and we saw so many people that stayed elsewhere hiking to the beach- ours was right there. It’s a private beach so it’s uncrowded and quiet. The condo itself was spotless and super comfortable. The balcony was surprisingly roomy and we couldn’t believe how sound-protected the condo was. We will absolutely be back!

Beautifully remodeled several years ago; very clean and well kept and well stocked. Great ice maker!! It’s a great location with respect to other units. Benchmark Realty was extremely helpful and worked hard to get us an early checkin.

I've been visiting the Destin/FL gulf coast area for vacations since 1995, but this was the first time I've stayed on 30A or rented through Benchmark. Overall the experience with Benchmark 30a and the property booked(Beachcrest 204) was excellent. The condo was in great condition, clean, and everything was delivered as expected from the listing. Communication from Benchmark throughout the process was great and their website made it easy to view listings, check availability, and book as well. I'll definitely be using them again to book a property next time I travel to the area!

My family and I really enjoyed our time at Pinewood 30A. The home was just as the pictures and my kids throughly enjoyed the bunk room. The water doesn’t get that hot at certain times which could be from multiple people using the water. Other than that everything was GREAT! We enjoyed our time at the pool and look forward to staying again.

Condo was very clean. Everything you need was on the premises within walking distance. Stores just up the road. Beach was just a short walk from the condo. I enjoyed my stay here. The host was very accommodating and answered any questions I had within a 10 minute period. I will be visiting this place again.

Clean, good quiet location. Walk to the beach was a little further than we would have liked with little kids, but the space and layout was perfect for us. Kitchen was one of the most well equipped we’ve seen as a rental and fridge had lots of space and was clean. Plenty of towels. Comfy beds and enjoyable balcony. Would definitely consider again!
