Absolutely loved everything about the home, location and convenience. Everything you need was provided in the home. From cooking, to bikes, to lake necessities. Can't say enough about our stay. We will be coming back!

Tahoe Getaways was professional, responsive, and very helpful in finding a last-minute home that would suit our needs. Was able to book on the morning of check-in. They made sure I had all of the info needed to locate and enter the home. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and 1 dog. Main level has kitchen, dining room, living room, half bath & outdoor patio (dining table & grill outside). Downstairs has a game room, 2 bedrooms, full bathroom, laundry room & patio w/ hot tub. Third level has a main bedroom with its own bathroom (shower is tiny but there’s a large soaking tub). The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware/dishes. Game room has fun options like foosball, darts, DVDs, and board games. Also had access to community pool and marina. Note that there are a lot of stairs, which may be an accessibility issue (even more difficult at the higher altitude), but also plenty of seating in each room. Was a lovely home and we enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely loved our stay at Ellis Peak Retreat! The house was beautiful, spacious, and felt like the perfect Tahoe escape. The hot tub was perfection after long days at the lake—total relaxation under the pines. The neighborhood was peaceful and full of charm, and the location couldn’t be better.
We walked into Tahoe City daily—coffee runs, dinners, and lazy afternoons at Commons Beach were all an easy stroll away. One of our favorite days was renting bikes from Olympic Bike Shop and cruising the lakeside path to Sunnyside for brunch—no car needed the entire trip.
Highly recommend treating yourself to a facial at Cosmic Glow Tahoe (right above the Sierra Club)—Amber is absolutely amazing!
10/10 would recommend this retreat. We’re already looking forward to booking again!!

This cabin was nothing short of amazing , perfect location and such a cozy cabin ! Felt right at home. Not to mention how extremely helpful and kind they were after finding our wallet ! Very responsive and ready to help us anyway they could ! I definitely would recommend and hope to stay here again in the future !! Thanks for letting us stay and making a Lake Tahoe trip to remember.!!

Had a great time in Lake Tahoe with the family for my birthday week. 🎂The Rustling Grove cabin was a perfect fit for our family. Very clean, spacious and modern. Bonus was having a dog 🐶 park across the street for our grand dog Rex. I highly recommend this home 🏡 for your next visit.

We had a fantastic stay! The home was spacious, clean, and well-appointed—perfect for our group. The main living area had a cozy lodge vibe, with high ceilings, a beautiful fireplace, and warm wood accents that made it feel like a true mountain retreat. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The kids loved the bunk room and ping pong table. The location was ideal: quiet, surrounded by trees, and just a short drive to both Lake Tahoe and downtown Truckee. We especially loved the deck and open layout for meals and relaxing in the evenings. The host was responsive and helpful, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a comfortable and scenic mountain getaway!
