This is such a cozy, clean, updated little A-Frame and we had the perfect getaway! The hosts were extremely resonsive. Be careful walking smaller dogs at night out there as there are a lot of coyotes in the area. All in all we had an amazing stay and will definitely come back!

We loved our stay! From the view of the lake to the giant kitchen island which fits 6 adults comfortably for dinner. The backyard is perfect for snowman building and snowball fight (there were sleds and snow toys in the garage)! We had a bit of difficulty at check-in where the lock box wouldn't open, but a quick call to Tahoe Getaway resolved the issue. The house has central heat like all houses in Tahoe, which makes the air quite dry, we would have liked a couple of humidifiers around the house to help with dry air. It seems like there is a centralized humidifier but I don't think it was working. Another thing we would love is curtains or blinds in the bedrooms and entertainment room (kids slept there). I understand having an unobstructed view of the lake/trees/mountain is great, but it also means nobody was able to sleep in past 7am. Although we weren't too mad after seeing the view in the morning ;) Overall, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return!

This is an amazing location! Walkable to the lake, shops and restaurants. Also very close to Palisades! There's a hot tub, fun games, a fenced in backyard and balcony. That wall all great! The comforters were a little scratchy and the space heater in the master went from cold to too hot all night. Also a couple little maintenance issues. It was a great stay overall! You can't beat Tahoe City!

Spectacular! Everything was note-perfect. We went for a family vacation in mid-October and the foliage was beautiful, the creek was full, and we had a great time hanging out in this beautiful, pristine house. Thank you!

Great Location with views and privacy!

My family and I had the privilege of staying at this beautiful home in Alpine Meadows. The inside is spacious with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a great size kitchen and family room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook meals. The location is in close proximity to wonderful hiking and biking trails, which we used during our stay. Another perk was the hot tub. It was nice to relax in there at the end of an active day. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area!

This was our first time with Tahoe Getaways and it turned out to be a wonderful vacation. My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and Tahoe Getaways helped us celebrate with a sweet card and bottle of wine. Communication was fantastic and the home was clean and exactly as advertised. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

Great place, lake view, responsive host. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, including high-quality cookware and utensils. The attention to detail in the decor and the thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel like a home.
