We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Everything was impeccably clean and thoroughly prepared for our arrival. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more, from hotel-quality towels and tissues folded to look like flowers to extras like baby utensils, ziploc bags, and board games. The house itself was cozy and very homely. The kids especially loved playing in the snow in the backyard. The location was also perfect, quiet and surrounded by nature. It was also incredibly convenient; the grocery store and the ski resorts were less than a 15 minutes drive away. The bathrooms were very clean, as were the rooms and kitchen. We had a very comfortable stay and the amenities like the heater and wifi worked flawlessly. Overall, this was a great experience for my family and I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, well-prepared, and family-friendly vacation!

Our group had a great time at this house. It had plenty of space for everyone and. Great living room to gather in. Plenty of bathrooms and beds for a group of seven.If I could improve anything, it would be to increase the lighting in the kitchen and the master bathroom. Both were very dim. We also got locked out of the house when using the hot tub. We didn’t know the door would automatically lock on us. We managed to get back in after asking a passerby to come into the house to let us in. The last thing is that we had a difficult time finding the bedroom that was out of the house a few steps.Overall a nice stay.

Pleasant surprise that this property backs the forest. Had the whole backyard for our self’s for snow play. Very well stocked and cozy. Would return here again.

We loved our stay! From the view of the lake to the giant kitchen island which fits 6 adults comfortably for dinner. The backyard is perfect for snowman building and snowball fight (there were sleds and snow toys in the garage)!
We had a bit of difficulty at check-in where the lock box wouldn’t open, but a quick call to Tahoe Getaway resolved the issue. The house has central heat like all houses in Tahoe, which makes the air quite dry, we would have liked a couple of humidifiers around the house to help with dry air. It seems like there is a centralized humidifier but I don’t think it was working. Another thing we would love is curtains or blinds in the bedrooms and entertainment room (kids slept there). I understand having an unobstructed view of the lake/trees/mountain is great, but it also means nobody was able to sleep in past 7am. Although we weren’t too mad after seeing the view in the morning ;)
Overall, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return!

Great location, close to civilization and regional and national parks. Well equipped and maintained cabin. Everything you need for a Tahoe vacation!

Amazing house, a lot of light, very warm, super cozy. We were fascinated by the unique collection of various antique items. Felt like living in a museum. Can’t wait to return to this house for the next time!

Great condo, nice open living room. Only thing to note is that the fireplace is gas not wood burning. Super helpful staff when I asked about that.

Very comfortable and convenient spot to ski Northstar or Palisades. Dollar Point is a great neighborhood.
