Very nice property, great location. Large garage for 2 cars. Nice size kitchen, with lots of storage for a week's worth of food and groceries. Very well equipped with a nice washer and dryer, nice size bathrooms, multiple tvs, very safe for 2 and 3 year-old to play. Large common area was great for all family to gather, and roomy enough for everyone to have their own room and privacy. Would definitely stay here again!

The home was as described and was a wonderful set up for 2 families. Tons of outdoor area for the kids to play in the snow around the house and only about 20 minute drive to multiple ski resorts. We’d def book here again.

One of the most cabin-y cabins I’ve ever stayed in. I loved looking through the books on skiing and my nieces loved moving the toy gondola across the ceiling in the living room. Overall, it felt so cozy and welcoming. We also loved the view of the river. Would be very fun to stay here in the summer!

Absolutely loved our stay. This A-frame is cozy and gorgeous. Looking out into the forest with the fireplace… serene.
While it has a cabin feel, everything is new, pristine and thoughtfully designed. Loved the great touches like fluffy rugs by the fireplace so you can warm up by the fire after a long day of skiing. Plus, the beds were so comfortable.

Really enjoyed the place. It is very well managed and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation.

We had a great getaway. Enough room and perfect layout for a two family trip. Clean space, quiet, room for outdoor play and stocked with necessities. Would recommend, it was a relaxing stay.

Hideaway in the Highlands is a beautiful home, with spacious accommodations for the whole family. They have anticipated every need and offer lots of possibilities for family recreation.
The kitchen is outfitted with excellent equipment - Ironclad pots and pans; Henckels knives; plenty of dishes, glassware and pretty much everything you need to cook just as you do at home. The only thing we had trouble with was the coffeemaker, even though both of my daughters in law have Ninja's at home, it took a day or two to figure this one out.
I would like to thank Dan at Tahoe Getaways, especially, for his responsiveness in helping our stay be as good as it could be (my son had a ski accident mid-stay).
But, overall, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this home!

Perfect ski weekend for our group. The place was clean, well-appointed, peaceful, and super convenient given Northstar shuttle, location between Truckee and the lake, etc. Already thinking about our next stay!

Very nice, compact place with beautiful finishings and comfortable furniture, more up to date than most airbnbs. It had everything we needed and the location was great. Would stay here again!
