great place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tahoe Vista! We came for a weekend as a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday. We did have to sign an additional contract after booking. I was slightly worried about renting from an LLC but there were no issues around that, aside from them not being available outside business hours for non-emergencies.
Despite its age, the cabin itself was really nice. I was a little worried about previous reviews, but the state of the couches and beds seemed fine to us!
The hot tub was a nice treat to use, as well as the pool table, ping pong table, and foosball table.
There was a sledding/snow play area about 10 minute drive away, and we were pleasantly surprised that the cabin came equipped with some sleds! It also had towels for the hot tub, some board games, and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. We had an issue with the dishwasher on the second day and they were very responsive in coming to address it.
Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend!

We had a wonderful time here. Beautiful home with great amenities for a large group. Close to downtown Truckee and the mountains as well. The host was very communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

10/10 no notes. This place is perfect. It’s the nicest, most well appointed Airbnb I have ever stayed in. It’s PHENOMENAL for kids - comes with plastic plates / cups, great bunk room, etc. we will be back!!!

Our stay at this location was beautiful and more than we had imagined. The Airbnb was clean, had all the amenities, including sleds. It was comfortable, clean, and the surrounding area was so peaceful. There was a beautiful hike a short 5 min walk away from the Airbnb. I highly recommend this location if you’re looking to decompress, sitting in the hot tub, surrounded by snow and silence, was everything. Our host was quick to respond, and very helpful.

Had a great stay, will definitely be back!

We had a great ski weekend with friends. The shuttle service to the resort was perfect and made our ski days really easy. The condo was well stocked and comfortable. Communication with Tahoe Getaways was very efficient while also being helpful and nice!

Red Dog Lodge was simply amazing for our family! We all love the house and how we each had our own private spaces. Every bedroom felt like a master suite! We had a family of four and a few friends along. The basement was perfect for games and entertainment. The kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast before hitting the slopes. It was loaded with all of the appliances, utensils and dishes we needed. The back foyer was perfect for taking off boots and ski gear with a laundry conveniently placed there. We loved the cozy blankets and nice linens, personal touches (Ruby the red dog pictures!), and beautiful views! Bonuses were closeness to the slopes, hot tub, pool, pool table and games to play. We loved it and will be back! Thank you very much!

Gorgeous Airbnb, with a wall full of windows for natural lighting. Has all the amenities, and the location is superb.

We had a great experience with Tahoe Getaways. The company was professional, quick to reply, great at communication, organized. The house we stayed in (Eclipse Retreat) was very clean, had everything we need (kitchen and cooking supplies, extra towels, etc) and everything functioned properly. The experience of booking and staying with a professional company felt way better than our usual rentals from individuals on Airbnb. I would definitely recommend them!

We stayed in Tahoe gateway over the long weekend in January for 3 nights. The house has a spectacular lake view especially during the sunset. The location of the house was very convenient for us since we like skiing in Northstar. Kitchen has all the utensils that anyone can need. After we came back from vacation I realized that I forgot my diamond bracelet in the vacation house and the management of the property was very helpful finding and sending my bracelet to me. Highly recommend this place to everyone
