Great place for a weekend getaway! About a 20-30 minute drive to Northstar depending on traffic.

It was perfect for our annual ski trip. Will sleep 8 comfortably. It’s every bit of 3/4 of a mile to Sherwood which was a convenience and a nice sweaty warmup. If you’re adventurous you could ski home off the lake view lift. The space was beautiful and we felt right at home.

This Airbnb was perfect for our big group! The house was just as spacious as pictured, comfortably accommodating everyone. A huge highlight was the hot tub – it was a fantastic way to relax after a day on the slopes. Communication with the host was standard and efficient. As the listing clearly stated, we brought extra towels for the hot tub and our own toiletries/toilet paper, so that wasn't a surprise at all. One of the things we really appreciated was the well-stocked kitchen. They had a ton of spices and utensils, making cooking for a crowd much easier. The location was also super convenient for getting to the mountain. And we were impressed that they even had a plow come to clear the driveway – a definite plus! Overall, this place was great for our group getaway and we would definitely recommend it.

The accommodation was as advertised. The location was great for skiing Alpine Meadows and Palisades. On the shuttle route so no need to fight for parking at the base.

We had a great time in Truckee. Tahoe Getaways was amazing. Their customer service was excellent and everything for our stay was very well organized. The house was amazing. Very clean and comfortable; the amenities were great. We would absolutely use Tahoe Getaways again!
