Wonderful clean, uncluttered space. Tasteful record collection. Perfect location for our trip.

We couldn't have dreamt of a more beautiful and convenient rental for our family. Though it's only steps from the beach and restaurants, the house felt like a secluded retreat, with spacious bedrooms and living areas and a fully decked-out kitchen and outdoor grill. Extra credit for the huge back yard with tree house for kids! We will definitely be back.

The home was exactly as expected. The yard is very nice, especially in summer months. Enjoyed the hot tub. Could probably use some general updates as it is an old home. A second mirror would have been nice. But all-in-all a great time and a great location.

Great Host

We really enjoyed the spacious, clean, pleasingly decorated home in Tahoe Donner. The beds and ample seating were very comfortable. The layout was ideal for our multigenerational family gathering. The large kids’ room with attached bath was a hit! The access to the home with only 2 small steps was easy for the grandparents to manage. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck and loved the tranquil setting and nice hot tub. The home was very well outfitted with fun beach inflatables and also winter toys such as sleds. It was a pleasure to work with the Tahoe Getaways team who were very responsive and went above and beyond to assist us in extending our stay and tending to the hot tub when we had a small issue with the cover. We will return to this lovely property and definitely rent again from Tahoe Getaways.

This is our 2nd stay at Faurway Favorite. This house is spacious, comfortable and clean. The deck and movie room make this home feel extra special. It is well equipped with everything you'd need in the kitchen. I can't wait to come back!

We loved our stay here. It had everything we needed and was more than enough room for 9 people. Easily could have fit 10 comfortably. Extra large living space which was great for gathering and communing. Had all the appliances needed for kitchen, bathroom, etc. Loved how easy it was for us to access Olympic valley since we were all attending a wedding there. Many convenience stores nearby and just a short 5-10 min drive to Tahoe city where there’s lots of restaurants and cafes. Check-in process was easy and the host sent clear instructions on how to access the property. Would definitely stay here again! The only inconvenience we experienced was the master bedroom shower— it was plugged and would not drain. We couldn’t use the shower because it was going to overflow (low floor shower) into the bathroom. We contacted the host about it and they said they’d send someone out to fix it. We aren’t sure if they ever sent someone because the shower never unplugged so we weren’t able to use it, which was a bummer with the amount of people we had.

Beautiful rustic cabin close to a trailhead. Spacious, with a beautiful elevated deck and indoor parking. Looking forward to visiting again

Great spot for our family. Beautiful, modern house. Best part of us was access to the biking and hiking trails right from the property.

It was the perfect place for a Lake Tahoe getaway. Pristine and luxurious.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay here. The home was beautiful with quality finishes and located in a lovely neighborhood with biking and hiking nearby. Everything was spotless, and it's clear the home is well cared for. We hope to visit again in the winter to enjoy the skiing and snowshoeing close by. Thank you!
